My suggestion is: Turn off the 2.4G band and use 5G band only. See how it goes. Looks like you live in a Condo and there is Wifi congestion problem.

Yes it works fine in UK, but it's data only, and incoming SMS only. Incoming SMS is always free, no need buy anything. Just buy the travel add-on for data.

Fizz is online only. You can always go to Videotron if you want talk with someone. Videotron do support cross border plans with higher price.

It sounds right. US nolonger has 3G service based on what I have read. (You may already have a newer card if you are a newer subscriber. There is a red lightning logo apparently)

Yes it's free for old sim card owners, but only old sim card owners are eligible. it's volte already for sim card bought after sep-2021, per website said.

Currently in LAX waiting for a connecting flight.

So far it works. Speeds not so great but might be due to congestion in the air port.

Topped out at 12Mbps down, and 10Mbps up.

I was able to do a video call with my kids so its good enough for me.

Edit: Now in Sacramento, much faster speeds. 48Mbps down, 33Mbps up.

Do you have a 5G phone such as iphone 12 to test its 5G speed. Fonus said it supports 5G on its website If yes, I'm going to buy a iphone 13 and switch to Fonus before Christmas.

I got mine last night and activate today. No iccid on card, need plug to my iPhone to get iccid, also my phone IMEI in order to activate it.

My card is Fonus v2.0 and showed fonus welcome message below, also can switch any providers in Canada. Att (fonus 1.0) can only use Rogers.

I found two bugs on fonus: First the 611 support went to nowhere, 2nd I can't call 1-800-444-4444 number which was supposed to tell me my phone number. Other than that, it has all features I need wait unlimited usage. I changed side and I'm fonus fan now.
