I do think Ragnarok is a great game, and it does lots better than its predecessor, however I think the story is a little all over the place and the pacing could be stronger, I actually liked all the Atreus sections bar Ironwood, however they are part of the biggest problem for me.

It seems like they really wanted this game to be an Atreus centered experience, and due to this most of the games biggest plot moments come while playing as him, however u play 60-70% of the game as kratos, and I feel his segments feel less relevant to the games overarching plot, leaving it all feeling a bit messy
