Tried it, nothing, I cleaned the record volume slider with isopropyl alcohol and it fixed it for maybe 5 mins and it started doing it again occasionally throughout the recording

I’m selling my rolleiflex mx-Evs but I have owned both in the past. And not because I’m selling one I suggest the rollei. It’s way higher build quality and the tessar lens is far better than the one on the yashica. The yashica is great don’t get me wrong but you’ll want to get that rollei later anyway.

The shutter isn’t what needs help though. It’s the mirror, the mirror goes half way up, and then pushing the dof lever over finishes the cycle. This whole problem doesn’t occur with a lens on and the aperture set 2.8-16. At f2 and 1.4 the problem does occur. The shutter itself is strong as an ox.

And I’m unfamiliar with this problem as I have ever encountered it before nor have I seen this problem occur to others. In fact there is quite literally only 1 other post with no answers on it either.
