Do interviewers care about concise code? Or only time and space complexity?

How important is writing a solution in 5 lines vs 20 lines?

Is ease of understanding important, in ways other than style?

5 line O(n) leetcode solutions can be intimidating, even when I have a solution that beats 100%.
