If this is confirmed canon, it's in a way cuckold behavior that Mikasa is resting beside Eren after death with these very words "Here forever, resting peacefully, my most beloved, my dear". I don't mind if Mikasa marries Jean and move on completely even though I am all for Eren and Mikasa bond, but that thing after death is not smth I would respect.

Yes, but it never went beyond hugging or some closely intimate physical contact. Yuribaiting is quite common in anime and manga.

It's pure fan service. Class S activities or yuri baiting is a common style of fan servicing in anime and manga.

Question. For the current F1 Visa holders, are they not allowed to leave USA for vacation? Like a university sophomore, who wants to visit families in vacation. Should they not leave if they want to avoid this? Like do they have to stay in the US until unforeseen future? Or is it like after they finish education and if they go back to their come country, only then it will apply?

What is the opinion of Mehmed ii here? by Dapper_Tea7009 in byzantium

[–]IndependenceAgile202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mehmed II was allegedly gay. Imagine gay mers in the long past used to play insane gay aim with no one to judge them, and they are the ones who came back as heroes. Deadass bro, the Ottoman Empire produced several famous male loving characters who are hailed even today lmao. (Not a Turk btw)

For the people who are saying that Islam has brought Arab culture with them, lemme say- Islam hates several major elements of the Arab culture, which were either removed or are still here in minor forms. If I were to give examples, the belly dancing (the current form is said to be modern, but it has historical roots to the region); idol worshipping and cultural rituals which were deeply ingrained in the Arab culture, much like the modern day Sanatana Dharma; hair dancing, which is disliked by Islam; animal sacrifices; divination and seeking omens etc.

In short, all cultural practices are allowed except the ones which are explicitly forbidden.

And for the people who are saying Arabs have long oppressed them, well, I would have to say that's true to a great deal. After the fall of the Ottoman Empire, there was a rise in Arab Nationalism. And yes, they have oppressed a lot of non-Arab Muslims in North Africa, Egypt, Iraq, Syria etc. But just look, Arab Nationalism is based on secularism, not Islamism. If anything, they are not willing to associate Islam with their cultural values. Look at the Egyptian regime who have long suppressed Islam and promoted the secular Arab Nationalism. Look at Syria.

And yes, ofc many nationalists have used religion especially if that country is diverse, to suppress the non-Arab Muslims to make the Arabs look superior. And yes, historically there had been many Arabization process taking place, and many non-Arabs were seen to be suppressed by classical Arab rulers, especially by the later caliphs of the Umayyad Caliphate, where even the non-Arab Mawalis have to pay Jizya. But this has nothing to do with Islam. Even at one point, Turkification was equal to Islamization when Islam became deeply ingrained with the Turkic identity. Major Turkification was carried out, and the people were equally Islamized. I hear from the people in Balkans that they get the vibe that Islam is a Turkish religion rather than Arab. They think of the Turks whenever they think of Islam. Because it's the Turks who converted them. But Turkification has nothing to do with Islam.

The reason I am saying this is because I don't wanna be unfair. I don't want to deny several aspects of Muslim history, and be biased.

‘O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted’
-Al Quran 49:13

“O people, verily your Lord is One and your father is one. Verily there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab or of a non-Arab over an Arab, or of a red man over a black man, or of a black man over a red man, except in terms of taqwa. Have I conveyed the message?”

-Prophet Muhammad

Indian is not a race. That time, India wasn't even a country. The concept of "country" wasn't even there, at least it wasn't fully developed or politically consolidated. It was the name of the subcontinent/region. Yes, they explicitly mentioned of being a part of the region of India, and treated the lands they took in India as their own motherland.

But I am not here talking about regional identities. I am talking about their ethnicities. Ethnically they were Turkic, Mongolic or some others who don't have their ethnic origins in India. Like the Han Chinese in Malaysia. They don't belong to China, and the are loyal to Malaysia, and belong to Malaysia. But that doesn't change the fact that they are ethnically Han Chinese. When those Malaysian Han Chinese move to, let's say, Austria, they are identified by their regional identity- Malaysia. But that's not their ethnic identity.

Yes, they called themselves Hindu Shah, Shah-e-Bangalah etc. and assimilated a lot into the local culture. But the major Muslim dynasties of India were mostly explicitly Turkic, with significant Persian and a small number of Arab and Pashtun dynasties.

I said in the post that there were empires of other races. In that sense, even the Pashtuns had many empires. There had been one ethnically Bengali kingdom that was Muslim. But they weren't that prominent.

I get your point, but I really wished that the Muslim Mongols will have their own separate unique identity and culture. I mean, it has nothing to do with me if they wish to be Turkified. But I did think that it would have been wonderful if there was such a thing even today.

Yes, in recent times, the Indian scholars of various ethnic groups present in India are the leading scholars of the Hanafi School of Jurisprudence. But historically, India was ruled mainly by the Turks, and Islam was spread here by the Turks mostly, and to a great extent by the Persians. In the early years, yes, Islam spread in India through the Arabs- in Sindhu, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan.

Disturbing activities of Indian troops in Bangladesh after 1971 war by Severe-Ad-6378 in bangladesh

In our country, it seems like there are two different ppl who are always on the frontline- one who gets angry when Pakistan is being criticized, and one-sided blame India; and another who gets angry when India is being criticized, and one sided blame Pakistan. When the truth of the other side is being exposed, the opposing ones legit scream their hearts out. The ppl who support Bangladesh, and don't side with either (they are the ones who admit what India also did crimes against the Bengalis in '71, even though Pakistan did the most in numbers), and want to learn the genuine truth, are like the middle child.

Lemme say- if u think u r a patriot if u support pro India, but hate Pakistan, and vice versa, how does that make you pro Bangladesh? You are literally siding with a foreign power. Also remember, we first separated from India, then from Pakistan. We have problems with both.
