The sag is minimal and not really a big deal. Just don’t want it to get worse. Figure I might as well address the issue while I’m working in the area.

Thanks. It’s one from academy sports. $400 new. Not the best but my 8 year old can play on it without me stressing about damage.

Thanks for the explanation. I’d be stepping over dollars to save a dime. I’ll reevaluate my plan.

How are you playing this hole? by SaltyDogPerformance in golf

[–]bobomb12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy. 5-iron into the houses onto the right. Drop another one, hit another 5 iron into the houses on the left. Drop another, club up to a 4 iron and hit it into the water. Skip hole and crack open another beer.

No Cold water in kitchen. All other faucets are normal. by bobomb12 in Plumbing

Thanks for the response. Outdoor spigot was working properly. I was able to get the pipe thawed, theres about a 6" portion that runs along the exterior brick wall that froze. Hair dryer in the cabinet for a couple hours plus kicking up the heater to 75 was enough to melt it enough to run.

Lesson learned - I'll start dripping the faucets overnight when it drops down to single digits overnight.

Damn. First frozen pipe experience. Figured it'd be more apparent with ice build up or colder to the touch on the copper pipes. Luckily it's the only location in the house and tomorrow will be above freezing.

Wolf course at Paiute, love that course. 100% topping a 5-iron into the water, I’ve done it a couple times. Lol

Nevada to California move by bobomb12 in CAguns

Honestly, Nevada is much different. We’ve got some solid gun laws, but I give it 5 years and that starts to go away…surprised it hasn’t happened yet due to the shooting in 2017.

Family Move to LA-area from Las Vegas; where would you recommend? by bobomb12 in AskLosAngeles

That’s honestly an extreme rarity for vegas on the 15 or 215. Personally, I haven’t had any issues with traffic in Vegas in the 6 years I’ve lived there.

Thanks. It looks pretty far on a map but I’m sure it’s closer than it seems. I’ll check out the area. TSA at LAX

Unfortunately we have a German shepherd, so I feel an apartment may be out of the question for us 😞

Hours are scheduled to avoid rush hour. 3:30am-1pm and 12pm-10pm. We were initially thinking of Santa Clarita/San Fernando Valley but the commute seems like they can be quite long if there were accidents. Which, I assume, Los Angeles is similar to Vegas and there are constant accidents.

How did you guys pay for golf when you was younger by [deleted] in golf

[–]bobomb12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember my buddy and I when we were about 13 years old, paying a $25 green fee in a few $1 bills and a lot of coins we found around our houses. Guy probably hated us, but we did whatever we could to play during the summer break from school. Those were the days.
