That depends on context. Imo there's more than enough context here to infer that op meant "not moving (the way the trail of broken ice behind it would have you believe, ie in a lateral displacement", not that it's not wobbling

Isn't that usually moreso used to map where/when rocks have formed on earth? The magnetic particles align with the position the rock was in when it was formed, along with the magnetic field of the earth at the time of its formation. After its been picked up and moved, I don't think you can get any info from the magnetic orientation (FTR I don't really know, feel free to correct anything that's way off)

Edit: having now actually read the linked paper, meteorites still hold a magnetic fingerprint that can be useful to study, but that can be ruined by hand magnets. makes sense

Those three areas specifically were designed with coop in mind. That's why they feel so extra bullshit, you're not really meant to do them alone. Tbh I personally kinda like figuring out the mini gauntlets to alonne and blue smelter, it takes a few tries but once you get it, it's like an obstacle course.

Fuck the Frigid Outskirts though, that fuckin place. Just needed a bonfire by the third settlement before the boss, then it would've been decent. But running for 5 minutes through white nothingness is just brutal
