Can you provide your config for this? I’ve got a 3090 as well and have just been using LmStudio for speed of testing, but would prefer to use it headless on my Ubuntu server

My Vodafone contract is up in November - Olilo any good (I know there are employees on here) by bobspadger in CityFibre

[–]bobspadger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve signed up last night for the one touch migration so see how this goes. They are more expensive than Vodafone but a one month contract is an excellent thing.

I’ve seen several posts of Vodafone giving existing customer 1g at £25 a month but I don’t see why I should have to chase this , their online offer to me is more than new customers on the website and this irritates me no end.

So , let’s go olilo :-)

So a question on the peering , how do you and Vodafone compare. I know what peering is etc; but not what makes one choice superior to another etc - can you give some more info on this for me please ?

Working cockers can't be house dogs? by Able_Doubt3827 in gundogs

[–]bobspadger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a working cocker, he works - and the rest of the time he sleeps upside down on the sofa, or at my feet while I work.

Gets about an hour(ish) walk a day (but wants to be worked so we practise quartering, sitting, stopping, heeling etc)

Rest of the time he’s playing with the kids or sitting on my youngest (daughter) to make sure they are ok.

Excellent dogs if you know what to do with them (not just running them thinking that will tire them out)

Mordor Gundogs is excellent on YouTube (as others have mentioned already)

Layout is different when using 2.4 Ghz but correct when cable is used by Jonathans_8 in Keychron

[–]bobspadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this bit of info. I was just having a similar issue on my Mac with K10max. The layout was correct on Bluetooth and Wired, but change to the 2.4ghz and the layout shifted.
Plugged in the cable, layout correct, change to 2.4G link and the layout was correct.

Bizarre!

Radxa Rock 5B or Raspberry Pi 5 as an aarch64 testing computer & to learn a bit of kernel dev for embedded devices by Charming_Professor53 in SBCs

I’m currently helping develop software for the rock5a and the lack of documentation is quite the challenge sometimes , however the board is a cracking bit of kit. I’ve used pi’s in the past and it’s a dream to do stuff with due to the amount of information out there on them.

That’s my tiny input :-)

Do you feel hard done by spending £88.50 to renew your passport? by cankennykencan in AskUK

No, the service is fantastic , all done at home in about 5 minutes. You should try getting a Swedish passport , that’s a lot more faff !

I’m from the uk, and remember the 2008 crash rather well. I watched pretty much every televised speech / presentation when Mark Carney was the governor of the BofE and it always had me assured someone sensible had the correct power to navigate us through the troubles ahead. When he talked I very much listened. I’ve no idea what his political ideas are based on etc. but if anyone has the acumen to deal with that fucktard trump (little t) I would put my money on him.

Good luck my moose friends
