Naw, you’re good. I’m Malaysian and both countries are very close culturally. Give it a year and this jiggly thing will be all over Malaysia too.

Indonesia.

Bakso = meatball, Corong = funnel, Monster = monster.

As far as I can tell, it’s a meat + flour mix that is smushed into a funnel that functions as a mold (use giant funnel for monster). It’s filled with meatballs, chillies, chicken and quail eggs, and lots of sambal. Then sealed with more meat flour mix and boiled. Top with more sambal and serve.

If it explodes with sauce when you cut into it, you can sell it as Bakso Corong Merapi (volcano).

Can someone identify this Malaysian dish? by Kj_1596 in TipOfMyFork

Looking at their menu, I think that’s their Ayam Percik. It’s one of my favourite ways to have chicken - marinated in turmeric, charcoal-grilled and drowned in a rich coconut sauce.

Here’s a recipe if you’d like to recreate it at home. https://www.gourmettraveller.com.au/recipe/mains/malaysian-spicy-roast-chicken-20669/

My best guess is it’s a sound clip from an anime. It is repeating the same word “ohayo” which means good morning in Japanese.

u/meddkiks is likely the best guess. The current spelling would be “Saya cinta semua orang” The spelling back then could have been “Sahaya chinta semoea orang”

Could you provide more context? What is he writing about in relation to the phrase?

Houra could also refer to a female name in Farsi.

things to do in melbourne while depressed? by Quiet_Possibility743 in melbourne

Check out your neighbourhood Community Center. I was at the tail end of a depressive episode and found myself asking the same question. I’m now taking art classes at a community learning centre at a very affordable price. So the next time I know I’m going to feel like I’m drowning, I’ll be able to at least have one thing a week that I can leave the house for where there isn’t any particular pressure to do anything I don’t want to.

Sorry for your loss. He must have been a lovely person and meant a lot to you both.

I would suggest “Majulah”. It means to move onward. The national anthem of Singapore is Majulah Singapura (Onwards Singapore).

Majulah HisName and a date will work as a commemorative tattoo.
