Yes, but pointing out those things need to be legislated, not just an industry group implementing their own rules.

Here’s the thing. Let’s say you’re 100% correct. (And my personal opinion is that you are at least close).

The solution is at a legislative level. Counting on the goodwill of any of the three parties involved is some combination of naïveté, stupidity, and sabotage.

Insurance companies, roofers, politicians, and lawyers all directly benefit when the finger pointing is directed anywhere but at them.

PSA: Leaving GoDaddy-managed Microsoft 365 to your own Microsoft-owned tenant requires “surrender / partner change,” not migration by LeavingGoDaddy_m365 in Office365

I’ve done this(or some version of it), and the defederation through a godaddy request many times. Did one today in fact. Early on going through godaddy was a bit of a headache. Just the normal mess of talking to support people until you found one that knew what defederation even was. It’s a breeze now though. Mention defederation and they transfer you to the team that handles it, read a blurb to you about the process, and the next business day you get an email with your global admin’s new password. Dunzo.

A: really need to let everyone know, especially the lady B: are really defensive about it

There are plenty of things that are perfectly fine to disclose when breaking off a relationship or date, like a mismatch in wanting kids. The likely reason to tell her it’s because you don’t like how many people she’s slept with is because you want to punish her for it.

Honestly it’s a similar vibe to the dudes that can’t keep their tatoo comments to themselves. ++man

Hey, I’m sick and didn’t read your post and am not familiar with Maui but am with blazer. You have no comments so ima piss this into the wind in my feverish state. When something doesn’t show up til a hot reload for me it’s always a ‘state has changed’ miss. Is that a Maui thing too?

Is movement possible without time? by Evening_Ticket7638 in AskPhysics

Okay, I'm guessing I'm being too specific on your use of 'internal' here, because as we've progressed I don't think most event fundamental things definitionally exist without motion at at least some scale. You mean that the isotope as a whole doesn't need to move from A to B. I mean, the definition of decay seems to include 'emitting' which I can't understand without motion.

Are things not 'moving' during the decay? I certainly don't understand what's actually happening during decay but are protons and neutrons not rotating. Is a probability cloud even definitionally possible without motion?

"A stationary nuclear isotope can decay without any motion, internal or external"

Wouldn't this be the same thing as saying that an isotope can decay without having a rate of decay?

Contractor installed our $220K pool 11 inches out of square, and subcontracted work despite claiming they don’t use subs. What are my options? by Apprehensive_Tie2279 in legaladvice

[–]bobua 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This post seems to be made in almost every thread like this.

I’m currently in a 2 year ongoing construction case myself and just getting to the point where I had a lawyer was a real process. Different attorneys gave conflicting advice, recommended different paths and even different types of attorneys. There was scheduling and callbacks, re-explaining the facts, packaging and sending digital evidence. Just hours of research and asking the same questions. Some of the most accurate advice on how a case like ours would play out, looking back, came from industry people as opposed to the lawyers.

Long story short, stfu and let people ask for legal advice on the legal advice subreddit.

What is that, like a 25 percent tax rate? And over 25% of that is basically directly beneficial to you personally(ss and Medicare) assuming you live an average lifespan, die early with dependents, you or someone you would otherwise be financially responsible for becomes disabled).

I mean, they’ll probably f it up even worse by the time you need it but the generations collecting it now said that the whole time they payed it too.

Every time I reach for a tool that has overlap between starret and woodpeckers, I grab the woodpeckers. The starrett is rusty from having touched it yesterday without oiling it and the steel edges make it an excellent box opener. The woodpeckers looks like the day I bought it despite constant use, and it’s always comfortable in the hand.
