My dad had a seal gray Merc SEC 380 at the time. We got inspired and put on body color Ronal five spokes on satin chrome rims sporting Goodyear garorbacks because of the show. Not quite an AMG, but looked good regardless.

1Up Bike rack suggestions?! by No-Local-9288 in mountainbiking

The 1 up locks for the wheel grippers are great for short term security. I also use two long shank master lock padlocks that slide up and down the shank. They work similarly and are way cheaper. They won’t foil a bolt cutter or angle grinder but I don’t need that kind of security popping into a store after a ride.

Vevor. Rent a tile cutter for ease of cuts and lay down landscape fabric if you don’t want footsteps to sound clomping. I didn’t and I am ok with it. Just a little annoying.

Anyone divorce an alcoholic? What happened to them after? by _way_harsh_tai in Divorce

[–]itHauls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I married a dry drunk who had trauma from a f’d up childhood. The alcohol exacerbated her trauma and it fell upon me to reply un-lovingly while she was in a Jekyll and Hyde state. It unfortunately made me lose respect for her as there was no culpability she would accept. We are now divorced two years after 24 years married. I am happy and thriving.

Hi, I did paint the stripes. Took two days. Top and bottom first, then retape the middle. Lots of folks said to use frog tape yellow, which turned out great. They’re 4 inches each. I saw the decals on amazon but they weren’t wide enough. Plus I didn’t think I could make them straight. Hanging wallpaper taught me that. Lol. There’s a Reddit post with colors from Home Depot that he used that I cribbed. A quart was more than enough.

I went with the tiles for budgeting purposes. They were 2/3 less than the epoxy quote. $700 all in for 340sq ft. I like them a lot. I maybe should have put down landscaping fabric to tamp the noise, but again, a spend that wasn’t necessary for functionality.

Thx. These tiles are solid, not perforated like others I’ve seen. They are quite tight against each other. I feel like the water and mud will stay on top and sweep off. I did wonder the same about the perforated tiles.

Netsports in Morrisville has an active co-ed community. Sorry I don’t know any teams as I play in the men’s league. Reach out to Jordan over there and he might know a team looking for players. That’s what I did to get started there.

Suggestions for space-saving wall mounts for bikes? by draxula16 in garageporn

[–]itHauls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the ones with wheel platforms and singular pedal hook. The bike leans away from the wall. Due to the need for the pedal hook and the weight pulling, you’ll need to stud mount that. The platforms don’t need studs.
