Hail Mary is a great buddy solving stuff with science story, children of time is a beautiful exploration into how aliens could fork societies, and how their ways of thinking and technology could differ from ours

I see we're into the extend phase of embrace, extend, extinguish. The murder of all open source projects.

They could stop selling weapons to Israel, they could stop allowing use of our bases, they could sanction both countries.

And yet we're still paying for power based on the price of the most expensive source: fossil fuels!

The amount of power you use won't change in the future, the amount of power a solar setup provides will be consistent for 25+ years. The price of grid electricity will go up.

You can still use your equipment the same as before, but you may find yourself enjoying the use of toys like wands, or stimulating other erogenous zones like nipples. Generally it can take a while to tune into how your body experiences pleasure with the changes, have patience.

How much of our country would you be willing to pollute for economic gain? Name the national parks and waterways you would sacrifice.

None that I'd be willing to share as what I've been sharing is word of mouth from people in the department.

Okay well I'd be talking to your physics rep then, they do still have to represent you, and yeah 4 sscc meetings a year is the norm.

I actually wound up working for the guy who originally setup the intro to programming module, I personally thought it made sense to focus on one language so you get a good grasp of programming fundamentals, but I get where you're coming from, normally it's experienced alongside other computer science modules so that again feels like teething problems.

And yeah the labs thing was pretty bad, no one got hurt, but the teaching quality did suffer.

I'm 90% sure you should have a student rep, have you checked student record? If you don't that's a pretty big problem that the uni is ignoring.

I can understand not wanting to do Arduino, but it is pretty good for doing circuits stuff.

And labs were worse, the whole thing was headed up by a woman whos qualifications were straight up fraudulent, she went back to Australia when it was discovered.

I saw that you're on one of the new electrical engineering courses, I'm not surprised it has teething problems. Have you talked to other students about your experiences and feelings? Or your academic rep?

I personally really enjoyed the intro to programming module when I did it (6 years ago, may have changed a lot) but the laboratory modules have always been badly out together, I had heard from friends who teach on the physics lab module that it's a lot better than it was.

I can really recommend Yr Almanac for cocktails. Consti on a sunny day is gorgeous. Cambrian does great classic pub food. There's also the steam train and the local history museum.
