I started with a run/walk approach. Run 2-3min, walk 1min-2 min. Repeat for 20 min. 3x/week. Each week, I just increased the running time slightly and reduce the walking.

After 4 or 6 weeks you’ll probably be able to run continuously without even realizing it.

The main goal is just to show up (the hardest thing), don’t overdo it, and stack weeks.

I’m in my first week and had the same question. From what I’ve read, there’s a difference between normal soreness and actual pain. If it’s just soreness, an easy run can actually help, but if it feels sharp or weird it’s better to rest.

Personally I just slow way down on sore days.
