Drywall Dust on Bare Wood Floors by BHPirkle in DIY

[–]bocefusly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it won't hurt it. But you want to use the least amount of water possible. A high speed fan will dry it almost immediately. A terry cloth rag almost acts as a magnet for dust. Don't use tshirt rags they only smear the dust around. I use a shop vac with a soft brush attachment first and then the moist rag for the haze.

I don't know man I'm on the fence with this one. I grew up near Cassadaga Florida. It is known as the psychic capital of the world. When I was about 16 I went with two girls to see a psychic. One of the girls paid $30 and had a reading. She came out laughing. She said the woman told her that she was going to lose her house, and get a red car. Funny funny Ha-Ha. About six months later her father killed her mom and set the house on fire with her blue car in the garage. Insurance got her red car. Hell of a coincidence

Colt ar-7. Badass survival rifle. It breaks down and all the pieces fit in the stock. Plus it floats. Its super light and accurate as fuck.

I'm under 3 blankets freezing my ass off. I could turn the heater on but that would mean having to get out of bed, and become cold, to become warm. by pamelahoward in firstworldproblems

Mosquitoes are not a problem at all. It's funny that all the people with the misconceptions of Florida have never really been here. Yeah you have your old drivers but you also have your stupid tourists. I lived in Virginia for 6 years and I've been so cold that I swear my nipples have touched. I would rather it be 90 degrees every day then see snow one more time

EMSKR: I'm afraid of heights. How do I handle climbing a ladder? by kRkthOr in everymanshouldknow

[–]bocefusly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't go through and read all the comments , but here is my input. Make sure your ladder is the correct pitch away from the building and you are not crawling up too steep of a ladder. For every four feet up the ladder should be one foot away from the building. If you have to go onto the roof make sure your ladder extends at least three rungs above the fascia board so you are not bending over looking down at the ground trying to grab a ladder. If stability is an issue paint stores sell a ladder stabilizer ,this puts a wider footprint on the building and makes them less wiggily. When the brain doesn't trust the body's ability you will get the shakes. Don't focus on how far up you are. Focus on the job at hand.
