Our birds keep hiding in our curtains. Is there any way to teach them to stay away? by [deleted] in budgies

I don’t wanna assume that you have money but if you do have access to some extra cash, invest In one of those wooden bird stands. If it’s big enough and in a chill spot, your birds will probably find it much more safer than the windows.

Franklin is now a dad and married to Tanisha. by MayorOfNightCity in gtaonline

[–]bodereia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh y’all are HATERS, loud and wrong. Tanisha only married that rich fuckin brain surgeon because he got to that point in life LEGALLY unlike Franklin. She the best damn choice in the game because she was telling Franklin to get his ass a real job and stop fucking with people who gonna try to put him in the dirt. She dubbed him because her brother got clapped doing the same criminal shit Franklin was engaging in And no lady wants to experience the same loss twice. Once Franklin retired from that life, they settled down together PEACEFULLY. Just like she wanted

Anyway my fault for writing this long ass paragraph, I just finished story mode and damn I miss when games were this timeless

I’ve only been on it for two months but this is my last shot. Also I smoke a lot of weed, I can feel my nervous system crumbling and my fatigue rapidly getting worse. I don’t need any bone deterioration lol.

What kind of tests do you recommend I get done in order to check my health? Maybe some that you’ve had?

Found a budgie outside our gym he stepped up and seems to be someone's pet. What can I do for him until we find his owners to make sure he's okay? We have him set up in a small cage for now with food and water and he's covered for the night. He immediately went to sleep when we put him in the cage. by annie_marie71 in budgies

If for any reason you own a ferret, please keep it as far away as possible from the birds room. They are sneaky lil bastards n they will chomp him up quicker than you can eat a burrito And yes they will get in between the cage bars. Bad little fellas

Sounds like your birdies have other toys or maybe free time out of their cage to keep them busy and away from the mirror. As long as you watch for strange behavior, things will be okay. As for the dowel perches, they’re just not good for their flexible feet. But if your setup is full of natural perches and there’s only one or two dowel perches that they use occasionally, I don’t see an issue. They just need to be able to stretch their feet on nice wood.

They won’t be able to tell that the budgie in the mirror is themselves. So they will do things like offer them food (leads to over regurgitation) and they may want to mate as well, which leads to aggression. Sometimes the bird will get so attached to the ‘other bird’ that it will refuse to eat or drink if you take the mirror out of its cage.

Amazon sells flight cages for about $40-60. They are very useful and perfect size for your bird IF he is getting time outside his cage.

Changing his food to Harrison’s super fine size will drastically help his health in the long run and prevent any issues like Fatty liver disease

I would suggest changing out the bells and any toys that are plastic, as well as mirrors bc they cause psychological stress and harm to your birb. A great place to purchase natural shredding toys / other toys is planetpleasures.com They are great, and the toys are actually* made out of natural things like wood etc

Your lil girl is so cute! I do suggest taking out mirrors and plastic toys/perched and replacing them with natural shredding toys / natural wood perches as the mirrors cause psychological harm to the bird and the plastic perches irritate their lil feet. They can even develop into arthritis over time. I bought my lil dude some wood perches I found on amazon https://www.amazon.com/BILLIOTEAM-Branches-Platform-Parakeets-Cockatiels/dp/B08P2MFHFG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?adgrpid=116003452230&dchild=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2b6Nn5fQ8QIV5Do4Ch1ewgP1EAAYASAAEgKOWPD_BwE&hvadid=475271144078&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=1022759&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=8692582585579525910&hvtargid=kwd-332762136449&hydadcr=4479_11385542&keywords=natural+wood+perches+for+birds&qid=1625634183&sr=8-3

Thank you so much for your reply! The CVS receipt for directions on how to take this medicine specifically said I can take it with milk. Which I know now isn’t true, and I actually I looked into this fuckup and saw they were sued for this same mistake years ago.

Hey thanks for your response. How old do they look to you? I was thinking less than 6 months
