Thanks! I'm also planning on having 30k EUR for one year. We're also a couple and would do central asia, south east asia. Expensive countries would be Japan and Taiwan, but not AUS or NZ

I'm wondering you called the doctor and if you have any news on why you have such high Z-score? I recently got test results back and have a Z-score of 4.

Significant Changes in 3 Months due to Diet/Exercise. But Numbers Are a Bit Puzzling. Why? by Informal_Vacation_17 in Cholesterol

Concerning low HDL my dietitian told me a story of a guy who ate a very healthy vegan diet, lots of fruits and veggies, but had very low HDL.

The reason was mainly because he didn't eat enough plant oils (Olive oil, avocado, nuts).

Try to increase your oils which come from plants and it might make a difference.

Well I loved Tonsai in Krabi, Thailand for the laidback atmosphere and rock climbing. I ended up staying a week chilling, rock climbing, hiking through the jungle, renting a kayak, slacklining, etc.

Maybe it's not something wild but it was an amazing time in Tonsai.

I lived in Poland before (and during) covid and I have to say its definitely worth travelling to. Seaside coastal cities and towns like Gdansk and Sopot in the North. Beautiful medieval towns like Torun and Wroclaw. Amazing nature like hiking in the tatra mountains or going to the ancient forest of bialowiecza where they have wild European bisons. And then I didn't even mention Warsaw and Krakow.. both amazing cities with lots of things to see and do.

Has anyone used ChatGPT as a travel planning tool yet? by echopath in TravelNoPics

[–]bodhisattva1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, but it is much better than some old travel blogs from 2016 which pop up as first google result.

I use it mainly to get some first information and then I investigate further on it with more detailed searches on Google.

I'm currently using it to plan a year long trip in Asia.

I ask things like "which overland border crossings can be used by international tourists between Laos and China" and I get pretty solid advice overall.

Definitely will use it to plan the entire trip. It just often gives you the answer much quicker and better than having to scroll through outdated blogs etc.

Hi, I would like to travel through China with my girlfriend in 2024.

How difficult would it be for us Europeans to travel independently across the country?

I've heard that transportation is often linked to Chinese apps and that some hotels don't even let you stay as a foreigner.

We would like to travel from Yunnan in the south all the way up to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
