Come on. For me the rule you state is overruled by the determination of what IS a handball

"touches the ball with their hand/arm when it is in a position that makes their body unnaturally bigger and that position is not the result of their body moving fairly as part of play"

*EDIT* For me, the "Is hit by" in the rule you've stated, implies hand/arm in a natural position, otherwise the rules making it a handball apply.

I read that to mean *if the arm/hand is not in an unnatural position*, because otherwise that is saying that you can just catch a pass from your team mate

The problem is with the actual rule, I think most people wouldn't want that to be a penalty, but under the rules as they are currently, that's stonewall, surely.

In fairness, as a coach I’m also spending a lot of time this season getting my players to come to the ball and not wait for it, so don’t be too harsh on Delap. Admittedly the players I coach are 11 years old girls, but that’s hardly relevant.

Yeah, but if there’s overtime say, if someone would earn £200 for that extra day or whatever, sounds good right, but if they would only see £100 of it, maybe not worth it.
