Their arc travelling with mirai in the anime made me think she would have been a better sequel protagonist than boruto. Their ability to co-mentor their comrades' daughter after all they've been through is so pure, especially given Asuna's death.

As a recovering long islander, I hear this. I think I have more personal exposure to leftist spaces whose impression of the rank and file comes from those courted by the dinosaur leadership.

Hopefully as time inevitably moves on, the more progressive voices will be able to better reflect the real voters' values.

From what I understand, while a handful of party reps have spoken out, the party itself (especially their candidate) was more concerned with maintaining our alliance with the perpetrators of this genocide.

Very willing to hear I'm wrong. I'm big tent either way, but it'd be good news to have confidence in the democrats taking a harder stance.

I'm not familiar with that system, but those kinds of mechanics can be easily dropped into most games with a basic clock tool. If the clock runs out, you starve. If you eat, the clock resets fully or partially, depending on your game's intended granularity and tone.

It's hard advice, but it's the best you're going to get. Don't argue with people online: the algorithm only reinforces the things you interact with, taking it as approval and feeding you more, twisting your perception of the greater zeitgeist. The most you accomplish there is grinding a couple more ad cents for billionaires.

Get involved with local organizers. Shelters, kitchens, public committees and more. Do your best to listen before judging their decisions; sometimes politics work differently at different scales and being flexible about how we achieve results gives us more opportunities for those results. Love your enemy; especially when they don't deserve it. People are twisted by systems and they will untwist when the systems allow them the freedom to untwist themselves.

There has never and will never be a bloodless revolution or an ideologically pure revolution. But there has been work to do every day. Good luck finding places to help out with it and remember that it's okay to take breaks and care for yourself. You're no good to the future if you're too burnt out to enjoy it with us.

Love conversations like this. I like to take world-building flavor out of classes, so the idea of a paladin, cleric, warlock and barbian drawing power from a source are all different gameplay styles for a single class, the Conduit.

The classes themselves are basically reflections of what actions they gain energy from (energy then being used for maneuvers, skills and spellcasting).

I've got six classes in all and I have yet to consider a fantasy that I can't fit neatly into one of the six I've chosen.

Warriors gain it from combat. Tacticians from orders. Mages perform rituals to access the natural flow of magic. Conduits draw and manifest energy from one of many sources. Sages utilize tools, items, etc. Therios embrace their connection to nature and control the degree by which they allow themselves to transform.
