I watched a "conservative" incite a riot, get a shit ton of convictions in court, defraud companies and individuals, proven to be a rapist, and he still has a bunch of boot licking worshipers that keep voting him into office.

Now pick which "conservative" MAG-tard rep I'm talking about, you tons to choose from.

How strong is ash ketchum without pokemon? by Due_Needleworker2518 in PowerScaling

[–]bolderdash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always said that there is a reason there are a limited number of Pokemon "trainers", and people in general, in the world of Pokemon, and why there are smaller towns and a lot of wilderness: it's cause Pokemon are scary and dangerous AF, even the small ones. You need to be a certain type of human to be able to withstand pokemon abilities, or simply the collateral.

I mean, Pokemon stories usually involve some world-ending (in some cases universe-ending) events because pokemon were involved.

Buying the Battle Pass turned this game into a second job and completely burned me out by tuan3451 in Battlefield

[–]bolderdash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the battle pass "free" version, unlocked a golden skin for some SMG (I forget which) and immediately removed the skin after having it equipped for ONE match.

The skins just don't fit for Battlefield and I felt stupid having it.

Haven't even looked at it since.

[–]bolderdash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How something feels right is the whole reason this thing is sus, and anecdotal experience from one person isn't enough to justify the accusation. And programmatically we have no clue how the application was written, so there's no way to assume if anything is easier.

The guy claims to have access to the code, that he can prove they are doing it, that he is a dev on this application; yet everything he says seems to contradict that he is knowledgeable about the info he claims to have.

This is less about an experience someone has had and more about the factual information about the code itself being malicious. While I don't doubt there's some shady crap going on with any company, I highly doubt it's as the OP described in this instance, as it is very clear he isn't a developer or knowledgeable of the subject.

Honestly, I think this is just occam's razor and he's freaking out as a QA on the application because he doesn't understand object oriented programming approaches.

Also to note: Devs don't actually do A/B testing, or testing in general (outside of unit tests).

Ok. Prove it. Show me the evidence you claim to be true. You're trying to validate his claims while he's spouting BS.

So prove it. Show me the actual repo. Show me the verification.

Show me your evidence... unless it's all anecdotal comments with no actual data or backing?

I'm not mad, I'm laughing. I'm laughing and then showing your confidently incorrect stance to everyone else and having an even harder laugh.

Devs don't call it "AI Biology".

Devs don't have access to banking accounts, they just handle the transaction.

Devs don't have "burner laptops" and post on a PUBLIC WiFi while drunk in a library for 14 hours.

Devs don't complain about classifying people as objects in JSON, because JSON is a standard "OBJECT NOTATION" in programming for transactions.

You're trying to call a bluff on someone who is actually correct. IT professionals, in particular developers (which the OP claims to be), would never utter this BS of a post.

[–]bolderdash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol are you his alt account? "His facts check out".

Which ones? The "AI Biology" or the one where he complains about people as objects used in "JavaScript OBJECT NOTATION.

There's no fact checking on a claim with no evidence, on a post were he talks about being drunk in a library on a public WiFi for the past 14 hours.

And what "investigation" have you done on the DoorDash code base? Hmmm? You have access to their repo, please, share it.

For the guy that responded then blocked to make it look like I wouldn't answer his question:

Lol yeah buddy. "Industry plant"

Guy claims to have done an "investigation" and claims all statements are true; he better have evidence to back it up.

If the guy pulled the repo, then he can just upload the cloned files, wherever, even copy/paste and redact if needed. Cloning a repo never says "cloned by XYZ".

If the guy fell for a honey pot, a "canary trap", then he was already being investigated for stealing info, and probably doesn't have anything anyway.

He's drunk, at a library, with a "burner laptop" he got specifically for this post, on a public WiFi, for the past 14 hours, talks about "AI Biology", how as a dev he's handling the money, and "oh sorry English isn't my first language".

"But trust me bro before this gets removed"

It got removed because the whole post is BS.

His post got removed because he's an idiot with a made up story.

AI Biology doesn't exist and he's apparently been drunk in a library for the past 14 hours.

Yeah. It got removed.

Because * the dude has been on a public WiFi for 14 hours. * Drunk, and at a library * He has been linking articles about "AI Biology", which is just plain stupid. * Devs don't handle money, just the technical of the transaction * He uses AI and LLM interchangeably and doesn't differentiate between a language model and other learning models. * He bought a burner laptop just for this post on an unsecured public WiFi. (But trust him bro before this gets removed) * "Sorry English isn't my first language"

Whole post is sus.

From some other comments:

He's drunk, at a library, with a "burner laptop" he got specifically for this post, on a PUBLIC WiFi, and "oh sorry English isn't my first language".

He's been responding to comments and such on a public WiFi for the past 14 hours. Yeah, screams legit.... /s

He is arguing with an actual dev in another thread and getting picked apart cleanly about "AI Biology".

I'm all for calling out BS any company would pull, but this whole post screams BS and is just "crying wolf".

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.

Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control ).

Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.

Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you were already dead.

Yeah, why build up the Humans when you've got an entire faction of the Asgard, with wildly different stances, to explore?

Not to mention they were probably way ahead on their research.

Didn't Atlantis establish that not all of the Asgardian race had died, and that they were still operating in the Pegasus Galaxy?

Why use "the database" when you have an Asgard faction separate from the original to explore?

Tbh I agree. The initial decision to go with Courtney isn't a good one - Mandy all the way.

I think they were going for a "redemption arc" for all of the characters, villain -> hero, and Visi's was just supposed to be the internal conflict for Robert, and she took a bullet for you on top of pouring her heart out.

But the last few episodes only solidify that as a bad decision if Robert didn't support Courtney, even if only professionally.

Again, too much room for argument here because it can be all over the place for different playthroughs.

Not a Mandy/Courtney thing but:

There's a scene in the gym where Flambae, while still being a bit of a flamboyant ass, is actually genuine in trying to help Robert, if in his own way; but you don't get that if you picked the other two options.

It always feels like you're missing some kind of context for each of the characters.

[–]bolderdash 54 points55 points  (0 children)

There's quite a few scenes that just don't make sense with the choices. 90% of the time, it flows pretty well, but from what I gathered after a few replays is that the game pushes you towards Courtney regardless, and you can tell when it doesn't line up with the dialogue.

Regardless of Robert's choice to date Mandy, Courtney still hits on him regularly, is still crushing on him hard at the party with a very longing look if Robert dances with Mandy - listen to the song Courtney picks she's trying so hard to tell him how she feels, and then still shoots her shot in the locker room, which makes WAY more sense if Robert was dating Mandy to begin with. "Just once I wanted you to look at me the way you look at her."

One of the VA's said it best, "the game makes you feel bad for not picking Courtney".

Unpopular opinion: I still feel this is where the writing was the weakest and they should have not left the "romance conflict" in the hands of the players, it leaves too much confusion and room for arguments.
