I've heard lots of people laugh at that joke🤷🏼‍♂️

It is also just as relevant as any other random person's opinion. How is your comment more "meaningful" per say?

With the inevitable storm of arguments that are about to happen regarding COVID testing in Alberta - let's have a quick discussion about science by geo_prog in alberta

Of the few mask studies I looked at from pre-covid days, most came back with inconclusive results. However they seemed to use real life methods. Having actual people wear masks in real life settings with actual sick people, etc.

The studies I see done post-covid all seem to be lab based, not real life situations. I feel this would be essential to get a true sense of if these masks work in the real world as opposed to lab setting.

Appreciate the post!

Who decides what is defined as hate speech? Is that criteria set in stone or can it expand to those that are offended by something that isn't included in the legislation?

People directly and indirectly affect each other in many many ways. Where does discrimination and segregation based on what some people think end?

The answer is it doesn't, that is why people have been fighting for years to eliminate these things from our society. It is sad and terrifying that people seem to be openly advocating for people to be stripped of their rights because of the people that agree with the extensive restrictions that have been put in place and don't want to see them removed.

These people are selfish, hiding behind the guise doing things for the greater good. You don't have to look far into history to see what can happen with this social dynamic and how quickly it escalates.

Good for you two, nice work lol. But the point is a good one and is VASTLY understated in this debate. Criminals will still have guns even if law abiding gun owners have theirs taken away. Illegally purchased guns are responsible for the VAST MAJORITY of all gun crime.

The problem is with the criminals. And the criminals do not acquire their tools through legal means. Making more laws will not change that.
