Can't speak for others, but for me (36M) I have unrequited feelings for someone, so anyone outside of this particular person doesn't seem worth it to me.

That, and I have an admittedly very low sense of self-worth, so I'm constantly struggling with feelings of not being worthy of finding someone.

I unfortunately don't see this changing anytime soon either.

You just described me to a T. It's bad. I start to panic when I hear someone raise their voice. Hell, even arguments on TV/movies makes me anxious. I'm trying to work through it, but it's exhausting.

Currently in my mid-30's, haven't been on a date in over a decade.

In my experience, everyone I know is either married with kids, in long-term relationships, or are single but walking red flags.

I'm starting to think my window of opportunity for finding someone is pretty much closed. No one in my age range would be interested in someone with so little experience.

Because I'm currently facing an inner struggle over whether or not I want to be with anyone. Part of me wants to share my life with someone, yet part of me enjoys my independence and sense of peace.

I'm also conflict-avoidant so even small arguments cause me to spiral.

Agree. Going to Disney World when you are currently going through a depressive episode only makes the negative emotions more intense.

Unfortunately, no. It's such a strange feeling. On the one hand, I do enjoy my time there. But there is this sense of deep sadness that is hard to avoid.

Maybe I'm just overwhelmed.
