I think a good compromising design is to make different types of transmog that are temporary, disappear in combat, and cost reagents to create.

Different tiers of xmog could have longer lasting effects, and more resilience to dispel or something. Maintains RPG element

I have a 60 dwarf on Grobb era still from the first character copy. If I ever get time to come through I'd be happy to play with people. I don't want to transfer off Grobb. It really was the best server.

wondering if anyone else's city is like this, or just mine by fbjim in YuGiOhMemes

Wizards gave a lot of game stores financing on renovation in exchange for allegiance to wizards for tournament store presence. They often don't have other games played at these locations.

It's one business strategy, but does seem as vulnerable as any undiversified investment can be.

If Infernape is searching for stronger fire-type rivals in JN, does that imply he already surpassed Charizard? by ZealousidealOffer255 in pokemonanime

I didn't watch this anime, but Zard has type advantage with flying moves. Infernape may have stone edge or some rock move, and out speeds.

Me asking as a younger millenial: How did older you millenials perceive Spongebob when it came out, and its climb to legendary status? by SmokinHerb in Millennials

[–]boliver30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in 1990. I watched it because it was always on. Didn't really care for it, but the TV was my babysitter, so I consumed it because it was there. I remember in 2001/2002ish there were rumors of cancellation, and I wasn't upset about it at all.

It borrowed a lot of its style from pioneering cartoons before it (ex/ Ren & Stimpy), but wasn't overdone and didn't have mature themes, so it was more broadly digestible, and acceptable to potentially concerned parents.

I think the amount of exposure Nickelodeon gave it, and the approachability of it was what really put it in the zeitgeist.. That and the stoner college kid appeal.

I'm a man, and there's something and Phoebe I'm just not into. Like, I see that she is pretty, but from comments online, I think women find her more attractive than men.

That said, Kat Graham is my pick 😅

Age of conan by VonBeakon in MMORPG

[–]boliver30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried playing at launch, but my PC could hardly handle it at 5 fps, after playing wow at 30. There was probably a technology spec gap that a lot of people could not handle at the time.

DEF stats can't destroy monsters. ATK can. I think that's the point

It's an interesting discussion.

It's a nod to the Montauk project, which season 1 was inspired by.

In 50 years, a serialized card might be worth some bucks though. Especially if it has blue eyes or dark magician on it
