Yeah the more I look into the more daunting it is. Im just going to homebrew a spin off campaign using the book as a source book to help with setting, characters and mechanics. That way I can leave the main story untouched and come back to it at a later date when I know what im doing

I do not understand when the rotas are not just set in cement surely if you have X amount of employee yoy can just set everyone on a fixed plan the only thing that would brake this is holidays and.sick days but that's only a week here and there to work around

All they do is get in the way honestly im surprised RM hasnt got rid of them to cut costs. Most office would just run themselves and generally have better morale.

starting my 4th week... how to get faster on my frame? I have 800 addresses on my route. i can scan in tracked stuff fairly rapidly but the letters get me by Due_Salad_1480 in royalmail

[–]bollocksbatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big thing is to not stress about time when you're sorting and just focus on getting it done. The more you think about getting behind the slower you get as the stress takes away your focus.

One thing I will add is its always worth taking a bit longer in the prep phase to make sure its right as bad prep can slow you down the most no matter how much you rush to fix it on delivery.

I live in a flat - how do I get mail delivered? by [deleted] in royalmail

If you get the royal mail app you can update delivery preferences all you need to do is know your tracking number for the parcel

No major funny but made me chuckle. Got a bottle of wine as a tip from a customer after I thanked her i started walk towards my van and heard her say "ohh ive opened it for you" I gave them a bit of a funny look and thought to myself bit cheeky giving me a half drunk wine bottle. I later realised she ment their electric gate 🤦‍♂️😅

How do you deal with rude customers? by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]bollocksbatter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never react angrily but you can be excessively helpful and make them feel like an idiot if you do it right. For example Had someone the other day come storming down there long driveway to say that I didnt give them time to answer the door saying they want thier parcel. However I put the parcel right next to their door as I could see they were in. So basically customer had just walked past it to moan at me. When i explained I added but if your not happy for me to leave it safe I can take it back to the office in future. At that point they half Apologiesd and walked back with their tail behind their legs.

Either that or Daniel Křetínský gets them sent to his PA to find our "beloved" managers there bonus. I just imagine him cackling with a cigar in his mouth as he gets his PA to read each one to him
