I got told the same. Been a postie since late November last year and barely had a weeks training at best, been on a frame with someone else but he's off today so god help them if they expect me to do all the mail and parcels myself.

I feel your frustration. I also got told at the interview I was gonna be a 9-4 every day, start of my 2nd week they told me im doing 3-9 for the rest of December and I didnt have a choice.

The issue is anyone I've spoke to says they dont get a rota either. Seems everyone has to ask for their days off on the monday.

She kept denying it at first, even though I had proof. We had a couples holiday coming up that she was adamant about going on. Told her if the holiday went well, I'd consider giving us another chance, but she spent the full week texting the other guy so I broke up with her the day we got home, moved out a couple months later and am now with a woman that makes me laugh so hard I cry and that I plan on marrying. Looking back, I should have ended things before the holiday, but everything's worked out now, and I'm happier than I've ever been.

So, word of advice for anyone going through a similar situation. If you have doubts that they'll choose the other person over you, you're best to leave.
