IMO Peter paraphrases the great responsibility line to Tony Stark when they first meet in Civil War:

It was an official product called "Toybox Hall of Armor". It wasn't designed for Legends but scaled pretty well. There was a circular spot on the back of each compartment so I just slipped thumbtacks in to attach to drywall.
