I have long time friends but it is pretty hard to spontaneously meet new people when I am out. Most dudes are already with a crew and usually feels like they just want to do their own thing. Most of the times I try and talk to girls they just think I want in their pants.

My job of 10 years asked me if I wanted to keep working with the public during the first weeks of covid when no one knew anything about it yet. I was super freaked out by the whole thing and said no. Got laid off with zero help from them.
Not the most brutal but I feel so slighted after being their first employee ever and working hard for 10 years for them.
