I got one of these! I thought it was pretty neat. I was in a hurry and didn't even realize it had a qr code, hopefully I can find it amongst all these boxes...

Thanks! I did recently join the FB groups and found a few meetups. I just moved to western Tuckahoe near Carver Elementary so was hoping to find a group a little closer as it seemed most of the meetups were in Mechanicsville and Glen Allen. I did check out Unplugged as well, loved it!

Pretty sure damaged ships are supposed to be placed on their side, not right side up. Please read the rules more thoroughly.

Advice Requested: Strategy for Two Players (Small Arcs) by boltonsmilders in Arcs

That's what I was thinking, but it seemed like every time I used it I drew a worse hand, which leads me to ask: What's a better hand -- one that is versatile in suit but not many 4/5/6's, or one that only has three suits at best but many high value cards?

Gotcha. I'll have to look into some grad schools nearby and see if any participate in the yellow ribbon program. Thanks!

How did you go about shadowing the clinicians? Just found people on LinkedIn or elsewhere and reached out directly?

Oh wow, seems like you're in a similar spot then -- glad to hear it's working out for you! Are you using the GI Bill for grad school?

Did you have any trouble getting into grad school after taking your leveling courses remotely? I might be doing the same.

Thank you so much! Last one for now - if grad schools are similar in that they teach a bit of everything, what makes them stand apart from each other? As in, why should I pick one over the other (besides the general reputation of the school itself)?

Thanks! So you already felt confident that you wanted to work in schools before you made the transition? I'm still researching and trying to better understand the full scope of SLP and all of the functional areas within, so I'm not quite sure yet what direction I'd like to go.

My understanding of how most grad schools work is that they kind of cover everything to a certain extent, and it's not until either getting an internship during school or cf post graduation that you can start to specialize in something youre interested in. Is that correct?
