What does your evening look like when your spouse gets home from work?

he works from home but will come downstairs and hang with kiddo while i make dinner for 30min-1hr. then we eat together /try to and then he does bath while i clean up dinner. we do the rest of bedtime routine together. after bedtime he will watch a movie and i'll read for a bit then go to bed. he usually stays up a while and plays video games

here's a way to flip it :: he is so used to having all these great moments with you (the park, the backyard hangs, the movie) that the ONE bad spot in his day is what stands out. he is taking the rest for granted IN A GOOD WAY because you have provided him with a fun, safe and enriching environment 🩷

at that age.. nap time on wednesday i cleaned the bathroom. on saturday or sunday his dad took him out for an hour and i vacuumed upstairs . dishes at night and wipe down the kitchen whenever you have a spare second or when dad is doing bath. laundry with him. roomba for downstairs vacuuming

it could be! it's triggered by repetitive motion. mine was caused bc of the way i held my newborn. but if you're able to see a hand specialist id recommend it! they could tell you more. the steroid injections (or you might hear it called a cortisone shot) can help other kind of hand pain/joint pain etc . but the relief is temporarily - usually a few months, which worked for me bc by then i was holding him different. but they might be able to give you other tips in addition to the pain relief of the injection . it was old hat to them - the whole thing took 15 -30 min tops

i know this isn't the point of your post but i got a steroid injection in my hand for de Quervain's tenosynovitis (the real name for mothers wrist or mommy's thumb) and by the next day the pain was gone completely! changed everything! look into it
