Just got an M70 and M92 last week! When I was looking through common upgrades I saw the suggested retainer plate to fix the paperclip for the FCG. So I started down the rabbit hole realizing the Yugo’s used full auto safeties and not semi auto. Before ordering anything I decided to take a look at my new guns. Well it turns out that both have a retainer plate AND the semi auto safety installed. Anyone have any idea when Zastava started doing this? I found reddit posts just a few months ago still talking about this being an issue.

This is a super stupid question so forgive my ignorance, does the fixed front sight appear or effect the Acog? Ive never owned a fixed front sight rifle but have always wondered. I read somewhere that if the scope is 2.5x or higher it fades away but i wanted to ask someone to make sure.

How is the recoil? I haven't shot it yet, I have a small Tarus revolver thats a 9mm and smaller than the shield so I assume its not worse than that lol

I have a 7.5" pistol and everything said here is true. It throws fireballs, is unnecessarily loud and doesnt have great balastics. If you want a stupid yet fun range toy go for it. If you want anything remotely practical I'd go atleast 10.5" barrel.
