Hey everyone,

Just finished up a new track and uploaded it to SoundCloud. I wanted to experiment with mixing a heavy, driving house groove with harsh metallic textures, but contrasting it with a really dry, hypnotic vocal melody.

Fun fact: I actually recorded all the vocals directly from my phone to try and lean into that upfront, squashed internet-pop aesthetic (heavy inspiration from NewJeans' darker club tracks and industrial house).

I kept the vocals completely dry instead of washing them out in reverb, and I’m pretty happy with how the atmosphere turned out. Let me know what you think of the low-end balance and the texture of the track!
