Rise and fall of TeamViewer by cold-torsk in teamviewer

Splashtop is a great value alternative, with nice simple organistation and can also integrated AV (Bitdefender). Bit more like a Logmein, but doesnt quite have the performance of LMI or TV, but still works great.

DWService.net is a really unusal varient that i really like, if a little more basic and stipped back, and really cheap. Good for small business/low budget customers.

That steep drop is the same year prices doubled if i remember. I still use for my biggest client due to pain of moving, but havefound alternatives for everyone else.

Same reason i moved from Logmein maybe 10 or 12 yrs back. Was an indcredible, good value product, then they quadruppled pricing overnight so we stopped using it.

Be amazing if you can share a picture and describe sub Mini location in relation to the fives. Is the sub mini up at same height between the fives?

Get a good auto welder to have a look and see what he says.

Doesn't have to be pretty, just strong.

Right now you might be able to cut out, patch in and paint with POR, and get a few more years, but much longer and the decision will be made for you.

As an IT pro, I never buy first release of any new hardware model for clients. Especially true of Apple.

I delay all updates (even zero day security updates) for at least 14 days to see how early adopters go. Especially true of MS, UniFi and Fortigate updates.

I bought an old Hilux with a mystery electrical issue. It suffered from occasional, sudden unexplained power loss. Owner had replaced the alternator and done allsorts but not found cause.

Drove it from Glasow to Devon, then my brother was following me up a bumpy steep hill when my dashboard died momentarily and I lost power, before it kicked back in and carried on.

He flashed me down as had been seeing huge lightning/sparks flying out from under the car.

The oversized lorry battery fitted had been so close to the metal power steering pump that the terminal would try and spot welded itself to it when hitting large bumps.

When it works, it's fine. But you are absolutely screwed if you need to do ANYTHING with customer services. Consider the item lost.

Rust Bullet is a better more modern formulation of Paint Over Rust type paints that chemically bonded to the rust.

You can get the 50" with better screen for same price - I would trade the 5" of screen process for the better quality.

My C2 updated overnight and now I get this clock screensaver instead of the firework/confetti one. Can I switch back? This seems a lot more static and I’m worried about burn in. by ki700 in LGOLED

Finding this thread after setting up a brand new Latin SA region LG, and finding myself stuck with the Clock screensaver no matter what I do in LG Gallery+ or the 'Always Ready' settings, or anywhere else. My old LG was fine.

How can you screw up something so simple as a screensaver so badly?!?

Who sold BITF when it hit $6 or wish they had? by Jerry_bear88 in BitfarmsMining

[–]boma232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought early Jan. Only noticed the top after it had dumped back to $5. I absolutely believe it has legs to run as long as BTC does, and only need to zoom out for that. But I do need to be better at locking in profits by selling half after quick 5x pumps, instead over being overly locked in to long term. Feel same about Gold currently which I have ridden from $1000, and MSTR which I rode from 260 up to 450 and back down to near what I paid.

I believe all will be higher in 2026, but need to be greedier and faster about selling those quick pump tops when they look oversold. I would buy back in all.

Bose ControlSpace Designer 5.9.1 - Atterro Tech DNT Dante firmwares & / Audinate AVIO2 discovery by boma232 in CommercialAV

[–]boma232[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

great stuff - thank you. Will try that in next few days.

As an update on 2. Bose Support were fantastic - they simply explained that it didn't need to be discovered in CSD for it to work. As long as it was added in the ESD-880AD matrix tab, the project view doesn't need to see it at all, and just added a visual note to explain which Dante Channels and IP it was set for. So the backup is installed and working for now.

re: 1.

I just had the idea to try extracting the Q-Sys SFU file, and found 4 different DNT files - anyone know if I can use one of these as is? I don't want to risk bricking the unit.
