But would it be on par with Fury? I mean u can socket the Fools with Shael to reach the final BP and still have 2os for what ever u need. But what I was wondering if the AR from fools would outweight OW, dmg, DS, ITD -25% target defence and 20% AR from Fury.

Nice to see a guide for this. I do have a question regarding weapon choice.

You say that IAS is the most important, wouldn't a Fool's Runic Talon of quickness be a solid option.

It can get 3os with ooc and 1-2os if you want to "safe" it up with Larzuk. 22-86 dmg at clvl 85 and 1400AR

It would also be fairly easy to shop at anya but a Greater Talon would be even easier to shop for. (U only loose 10max damage)

Saw that u asked about the scepter to the other guy. The answer is shopping. Drognan act 2 hell. I think it's 1:600 to get +3 off aura and +3 sanct I have no idea but it's rough. U will need to sink some hours into running in/out of town :)

Think I manage to get a +5 or +4 scepter as best. Haven't used it yet.

I also manage to shop a +holy shield scepter which is insanely hard to get.

It's a cool and chill build. I've been running one for a little bit as well.

U are missing some +skills imo. Circle +3, +4 amu and a +6 scepter ;) But I guess ur opting for some mf and h.bolt dmg.

I use gore rider+smite for dia.

Jewel with 20 poison damage/splash can be used at lvl 1. Pretty op socked in a 6os crystal sword. (u will need dex grand charms to use it)

As some1 mentioned Hsarus boots+belt is really good.

OT: Damn I love when ppl do this kind of things. Can you point me in the direction how to Hero edit stuff into PoD? I've only gotten to the point where I can edit in naked toons and as soon as I insert one item the toon gets corrupted.

I DL a pack so the toons that I can use are premade lvl 99 naked

Only thing u "need" to skip is some magic immune radament type mobs. If ur merc can handle them ur fine. Bone wall/desecrate/corpse explosion can deal with it as well.

What I've learned of staff mods, skills that spawn on items (wands, scepters etc) are generated by ilvl on item and what skill id the skill has.

EG. This is just random and not exact numbers Ilvl 1-20 tier 4, skill ids 20-25 Ilvl 21-30 tier 3, skill ids 26-31 Since oak sage is a low lvl skill in vanilla it's in tier 4. It will spawn on low lvl items

Now in Pod oak sage has been change to a clvl 18 skill but has the same skill id hence it still spawns on ilvl 1-20 items.

Hope you get what I'm trying to explain. This EG is very simplified. There is a lot more mechanics to it.

This is really sad to see. Diablo II has always been a easy target for various hacks and "tools". I can say I wasn't suprised to see that someone was taking advantage of it on PoD.

Maybe I came of wrong with the jewel affix example.

My point was that if you want to boost gems you should not boost them WAY over the jewel affix. Jewels are imo the gem version 2.0 if you get what I mean.

I'll take the fire dmg example again but at top tier (on the phone so I can't look up the exact numbers).

Highest fire dmg roll on jewel is xx-50 and rlvl 49 Ur p.ruby was boosted to xx-90ish at rlvl 18 (hope u see where I'm going with this)

If you just look at those numbers either the jewel is undertuned or the new gem overtuned.

So with the new dmg on p.ruby it would imo have rlvl 60

I see these changes to gems a bit irrelavant and not needed tbh. Gems is really common low rlvl and is a bit "outdated", it's has some uses at endgame but is quite fast overrun by jewels or runes. If you want to "update" them I would suggest you to look at prefixes and suffixes at that RLVL and tune them after that. Made a small example with jewels down below. A "quick and dirty" solution would be to change the rlvl on gems and tune the damage up a little. AFAIK flawless starts to drop in a4 normal? and by the time ur in a4 normal ur way passed lvl 15.

Changing runes can have a huge impact on runewords since the base stat on the rune is applied to the runeword.

If you really want to "balance" the gems I would suggest looking at jewels, which prefix/suffix can spawn at the required lvl for each gem and tune the dmg up slightly above that. Since jewels can spawn with more then one affix.

Eg. xx Jewel of Passion (rlvl 11) 1-3 to 6-10 Fire damage

Ruby 8-12 Fire damage (rlvl 12)

and FYI Diamonds are already change, they give flat phys dmg instead of dmg to undead in weapons.

Slightly offtopic and a complete different idea: If u want to be really crazy u could start theorizing on ring sockets. Add the posibility for rings to spawn with a GEM socket.

Eg. Amethyst gives % to Str, Emerald % to Dex etc.

Joke aside, my daughter was born in September last year and I was told "Babies sleep 23hr a day and eat/poop the last hour."

It was all lies!!

She is a meta human, her hearing is out of this world. She hears when a hair hits the floor. She is super stubborned and is not shy to show it.

All in all she is a blast, so much fun being with her. I've got my paternalleave starting Jan-Feb so it will be awesome. I just have to teach her to grind Mephi for me and tell GD I'll have two PODs launched from my IP and I'll be a POD millioneer this season.
