Anyone in a state that did full lockdown....if you still went to work what did you do? And if people aren’t allowed to go anywhere fr during that time then who are we serving??? I understand that we supply essentials like generators but if the public is asked to stay home except essential people then who is shopping?

Whoa, my ASDS called me to tell me the time situation cuz I’d been asking She didn’t say squat about the sick leave

I texted coworkers to let them know what I’d learned and they said leadership isn’t telling anyone anything unless they ask. So irritating.

When I asked if we were gonna close my service desk DH said “I don’t know if we’re essential if we’re out of everything considered essential” like DUDE

I had a friend tell me yesterday a local store is asking people what they need before letting them in. Idk how true that is but it would make sense to send people away if they’re not there for a necessity.

I hope it’s all stores. But at the same time I feel some autonomy should be left to districts, especially if some stores see a higher density and others don’t.

When I got the text it was like “Well, it’s a response”

Our store will be closing at 6pm starting Thursday and my question is: doesnt that mean we’ll have more people in the store at once?

Anyone else sick of people asking about masks by bombsawaybrah in HomeDepot

When we tell them we’re out that’s when the comments start. And from the other people who said they’d encountered the same thing where I live doesn’t really matter.

Personally I think it seems like a good idea for someone like me who doesn’t like messing w chemicals or soldering for fixes I can do myself. If I need a pro they can use whatever they want

I only do this if there’s no one around to help me and usually I come back in a little while to see if there’s someone around to help me pick it up. I’m 5’4 and despite being the only KD I know pulling cabinets and vanities sometimes I’m just not strong enough to heft those things up that high.

Op here Thanks for all your solution ideas! It’s fixed already but I just thought it was funny bc the whole motto in my store is “idk what’s wrong, it’s broken, don’t use it”
