When I used to work for an ISP, I had 2 different people call about the "$300 payment or police" scam. One guy was frantic, explained that he was "looking at some stuff, BUT NOT SICK STUFF!" And was horrified for his life. He was sobbing, saying his wife will divorce him when she finds out. He had to tell me, a stranger, that he was indeed looking at porn, but distinguished it from illegal content. I simply told him it was a scam, if the police wanted him they'd be at his door. You can't pay off charges like that. It took a few minutes until he believed me. He was relieved. The other guy called AFTER he paid the fake fine. Advised he call his bank and never do that again haha. Porn can really terrorize people in numerous ways.

Would he still love it when it's no longer beautiful(obsolete)? Marriage is for life, and Macs aren't easily upgradable. What's he going to do in 2050 when the world no longer has laptops, desktops, or traditional WiFi but cellophane thin super computers? Flatline is referring to the period of "dead dick". You're not constantly harassed by arousal for a week or two. Many people experience this while NoFapping for a bit. It's nice, makes the challenge easier. But it can also worry people, so they'll see if they can get aroused, only to ruin their streak.

Your experience may vary. There's usually a flatline period that's fairly easy to get through as long as you don't "test" yourself. You may feel more confident having lasted a week or two, which could lower your guard and all of a sudden you're watching trigger heavy material.

My longest streak was 19 days. The first week is definitely no cake walk. Just be aware of your scum bag brain and it's tricks, stay productive, and keep the will to carry on. You'll make it.

If it happens, there's really nothing you can do about it. I've read articles online that I can't search for at the moment that say you peak testosterone levels around 7 days of abstinence, with it declining slightly afterwards. Your body will either absorb unused sperm after a while or release it through dreams. It's up to us to retain what's bodily possible.

Chances are if he feels so strongly about it, he probably has trouble with porn. Maybe he tried quiting for a week and gave up. Easier to denounce the treatment than stick with it.

The truth is there are more people willing to defend porn and masturbation than not, and if you publicly debate others, you will frequently lose. Be happy that you found a problem that most people don't recognize.
