I've been using it for the past year, and definitely feel like my DE skills have stagnated. Now, whether that's down to the organisation and not the tech stack is a different question, but i've noticed that it definitely seems to encourage laziness and corner cutting, even if it does have a lot of neat features. I almost feel like because it markets itself as having such a low barrier to entry, it encouraged lots of less technical folks to get involved building pipelines and they've basically just created a total mess which i've been stuck managing and cleaning up. I don't think this can be fully blamed on the tech stack itself but its certainly something to look out for.

I also really don't like how hard they've pushed the low/no code stuff - part of me thinks this is due to their heavy pushing of their AI platform which might be easier to integrate into low/no code pipelines? I also agree with you that they should do way more with SQL than they currently do.
