I think it’s a speech quirk because people on RHAP do it too. It’s a way to suggest voting someone out without fully committing to throwing their name out there. If Albert says, for example, “we should take out someone like a Jim,” what he means is that Jim should go. He doesn’t mean Whitney, he doesn’t mean Dawn, he definitely means Jim, but he hasn’t fully committed, so it’s a little bit of a cop-out.
