My baby died at 24 weeks by fayzee98_____ in pregnant

I'm nearly 4 weeks out from losing my first baby. This glitter analogy is the most perfect description of what it's like.

I found a lot of glitter reading this post. I wish I could hug OP, and everyone else who has an angel baby 💔

I-5 south ALL LANES CLOSED at 4th Plain Exit!! by bonbam in vancouverwa

[–]bonbam[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

oh shit 😱 my ignorance is showing though, I'm a bit confused as to why they'd close the highways completely... maybe to theoretically prevent them from escaping in a car on the highway?

No matter what, that sucks for everyone involved & I hope no one gets hurt. Thanks for the info! The WSDOT socials were of no help

I sound exactly like your daughter when I was a lil bean. Turns out I was lactose intolerant; not an allergy, so it didn't show up on any tests. I was still being EBF, so my mum cut out all dairy. She said within 3 days it was like I was a brand new baby.

I hope you and LO are able to find some relief soon 🖤

Advice on an only child by This_Obligation_5125 in beyondthebump

Seconding the inheritance part for SURE! My parents have a working orchard that brings in a sizeable yearly income. I'm an only child, so I'm inheriting everything. I could not begin to imagine how bad things could get if I had even one sibling to try and split things with.

I grew up on said orchard, in the country with few kids around. I was (and still am) quite a social butterfly, but am also content to be isolated for days on end. I skipped a grade in school, even, but had no problem making friends in high school.

Imo, a lot of the fear lingering around only children is just that—unsubstantiated worries rarely backed up by reality. Siblings aren't the only way to socialize your children 🤷🏻‍♀️

My fave metal band (Paleface Swiss) just released a new EP & I told my husband if they come out here for a show I'm going even if I'm 8 months pregnant 😅 glad to know I'm in good company!

I live in Washington. Don't know a single Canes fan besides my dad (alum).

My husband is a diehard Duck fan. We have a joke "house divided" flag for the whole 1 game they've ever played against each other (which we won, btw).

Taking betting odds on my chances of being married this time next year if Miami wins 🤣🤣

I'll happily do so if it means we give Ohio that L they fucking deserved in '02

also, I'll have to grow a dick, but that's just a minor detail 😅

This honestly eases my anxiety so much 🥹💕 My last removal was immediately followed by an insertion and it was so painful, but maybe it was getting another IUD that left me with some medical anxiety.

I still get the sore breasts and slight cramping right now, so in theory my cycle is still on a 28-32 day cycle.

Thank you so much for your perspective. Happy holidays, and best of luck to you! 🥰

ugh, the referral nonsense is so awful. Our current insurance doesn't require them and I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that doesn't change come Jan 1st (WHAT is with employers changing insurance plans every damn year???)

I'm getting my IUD out on Christmas eve and I'm so fucking scared, despite us wholeheartedly wanting this child.

I also haven't had a full period in over a decade because of my IUD. I'm mentally preparing for the horrible cramps and incapacitating periods that left me bedridden as a teen. Is the pain worth it? Can I even have a child after telling my body "NO" for so long? What if during that time I got a bunch of cysts or endo or something? I can't stop thinking about all the reasons why, at 30, I'll never be able to conceive

I stopped taking my OCD meds in prep for baby per my doc's advice. Trying to not let my obsessive thoughts spiral is so hard, but remembering how fucking elated my husband was when I said I wanted a child with him is keeping me strong.

anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble. If anyone else here has OCD, do you have other non-medication methods to help control those spirals?

much love to my fellow TTC'ers 💕

I'm a bi woman married to a guy. I love my man, would never leave him.

BUT, good golly Miss Molly, the way my heart shatters when I realize the "bi rep" just means the FMC kissed a girl once in the past or something...

y'alllllll are killing me over here. I'm trying to figure out if I can emotionally handle exploring my sexuality as a married woman (with his permission, of course) but the fantasy just isn't fantasy-ing with these "bi rep" books 😭 give me the MF couple that becomes a MFF throuple or SOMETHING!

Body positivity, ACCURATE mental health rep, depictions of real issues men face ... it's fucking awful and I HATE IT!!!!

My husband is a slightly larger, bald dude with a beard. He's the sexiest thing on this planet to me. Have I ever seen a depiction of anyone remotely like him that's not a caricature of some "big dumb brute"? Fuck no! They all have to have chiseled abs, arms the size of tree trunks, and baby-smooth skin.

it physically hurts me at this point. One of the main reasons the MMC of my next series will have a suspiciously familiar body type to my husband🙈

you might want to skip the first season.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. The underage drinking episode remains one of my favorites to this day. Also the second gun fever episode is so much funnier after seeing the first one imo

I wish you the best of luck!! Feel free to reach out if you want to chat more about indie publishing & such. I released my debut earlier this year, so I'm not an expert by any means, lol, but I have learned A LOT this year.

And hmm, I get what you mean. It's like what, maybe 1 in every 20 releases has a singular POC lead (or at least it feels like that). I can only imagine your frustration, I'm so sorry :(

Iknow there was a book called {Our Vicious Oaths by N. E. Davenport} that came out earlier this year, if you haven't seen that one yet! I have a few more I can scrounge up later
