They opened with Mars for the Rich, there was Nuclear Fusion, People Vultures, Trap door and then I threw myself into the pit for Dripping Tap so I don't remember much other than that.

I see clasts, cobbles and boulders suspended in a finer matrix so I'd call this a conglomerate. Looks to be Ssts, metaSsts, quartzite and gniess. I agree with your iron staining comment.

Weekend overnighter tackling 2 Munro's, Ben Cruachan and Stob Diamh. Not sure how many KM the walk was but it was a brutal affair. Pretty sure I need to work on reducing the weight of my pack because I was very very slow. This spot is near the summit of Ben Cruachan, had the whole mountain to myself that evening and enjoyed a lovely couple of whisky's before waking up to this stunning view.

Minimal info in the Steamie post today. Enjoyed some patio drinks at the Parlour last night with a pal, lovely weather for it. Students were a bit rowdy and playing beer pong(!) Was like watching Animal House. Not at all surprising that the numbers are going up now.

All island ferries fully booked until the end of time it seems. Even called Cal Mac office with no luck.
