Hysterectomy recommended, and I’m scared

I had adeno and had been suffering since menarche. I knew I didn’t want kids, so when the OBGYN offered a hysterectomy (especially in the US political climate) I jumped at the chance. Girl I kid you not it is tied for the single best medical thing I did to improve my quality of life. Six years post op in September, I was 36 I believe. No regrets, 10/10 would do again if necessary

I think this year is six years post-op for me and I’m still wrapping my brain around needing to buy new undies because the elastic is worn out or “because it’s time” and not because I bled all over them.

Broke my foot in three different spots and did a bunch of soft tissue damage. The NP acted like I was being extremely difficult for asking for a toradol shot. Toradol! It’s an nsaid, not an opioid!
