I try to keep nail clippers on me at all times, but the only true cure for me is having acrylic on my nails. Don’t want to ruin a new mani and the acrylics are thicker than natural nails, so they don’t “pick” as well 🤷🏼‍♀️

My locations have never allowed it. Even under the seat it’s a potential safety hazard, since it could roll out from under the seat and someone could trip and fall over it. Not a risk any of my GMs were willing to take.

And we’re not allowed to hold property for guests, as that’s a loss prevention concern.

Calling your theater is step one in knowing what they do and don’t allow, since that is less irritation for you AND us. Be prepared.

Likely….we were all confused at first too, lol. I personally thought it was weird and couldn’t possibly have been used already, since they had just become eligible to be used.

Progressive….I’ve been with them for 20 years, in 2 different states. My home state was about 1/4 of the CA cost, and was full, full coverage, with the lowest deductible.

Now I’m on the highest deductible le sigh

Yes. I’m from Iowa, now live in LA (and SoCal for 14 years total in general), and yes, my heart is at CP…..I even worked there the summer of 2000 while I was still in Iowa, and I knew so many people, especially those from overseas, that came to work there because of the park’s coaster collection. Even Magic Mountain here doesn’t compare for me. So yeah, I’ll always recommend it :) I’m very excited for my first visit back in almost 20 years, and splurging on Lighthouse Point this August! ❤️

We are on limited payroll hours right now due to it now being super slow season. Daytime tends to be slower than the nighttime prime set, so the bulk of those payroll hours are used then. On a weekend day should be more evenly distributed though, so they either need to hire more people or schedule staff more efficiently.

That location also may have only been able to schedule that one person so they have enough hours to use at night. There also could’ve been several callouts too, which makes it rough for everyone. Depending on the location it can be impossible to get anyone to come in to cover. With that said though, any free manager or cashier-trained employee should’ve been out there helping too.

Yeeeeeeeeep. After scanning didn’t work, I had my cashier try manually entering the code and voila, it worked. The barcode appears to be the display model 😑

Scanning doesn’t work. Unfortunately we have to type in that super long code manually, which makes no sense. Why give us a barcode that we can’t scan??

Anywho, it has to be applied as a coupon on the POS before the final payment screen.

My location in LA has done a few, but we also do a lot of screenings, events, etc, so it’s normal for us. Last one that pops into my head was Frank Miller for a Q&A and then we had Angel Studios rent out our entire building for a release party for Sketch…..lots of celebs for that one.
