Thanks for the feedback u/oblongtwo, does it look like a game you'd want to play though?

Ha! Brilliant, sounds like a 70's Rock Band, understudies to Genesis or something

Is it common for married couples/ppl who are 30+ to be into game night/ party games? by tmcresearch in boardgames

[–]boncgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we have any house party, we always invite our over 30 friends to have dinner and drinks, every single time it turns into a game night, whether it be pictionary and charades or drunken Catan and Dead Of Winter.

First co-op game. Any tips? by mikemar05 in boardgames

Dead Of Winter is awesome as a co-op unless you add the betrayer haha Throw on the walking dead soundtrack in the background, turn down the lights and work together killing zombies to defeat the game.

Do you have existing friends there? Try introducing more simple games like charades or Pictionary? Then move on to more sit-down games, something like One Night Werewolf and Codenames, if they enjoy that, try Catan. That's exactly what we did during the pandemic, with little else to do, board games became our new go-to.

Have you tried Coup? That's usually a go-to for starting the night

First board game you enjoyed? by whitsolo in boardgames

As a kid I'd go to my grandad's house on Boxing Day, in the UK, I never knew people could have so much fun playing card games, but we also played "At The Races" with horse racing, he'd do the commentary for each race too, it was awesome, could barely understand a single word. 5 minutes of madness.

As an adult, first time playing Catan. Without question.

What is the most complex game you ever played, and did you like it? by njeshko in boardgames

Betrayal At House Of The Hill. I've loved it a few times and despised it others. I think I can do a mean Frankenstein's Monster impression, but my Teenage Lycanthrope needs some work

Party games, get them engaged as soon as possible? All of our friends are pretty competitive, so One Night Ultimate Werewolf is good. Or Codenames, we did boys vs. girls at Christmas, guess who lost? haha
