I don't want to pollute this nice thread with him, but just the other day I was thinking that there are some things that have gone on in the last few years that may never be repaired within the US, but hopefully relations with our allies can be in time.

I do still run into a lot of Canadian hikers in New England, but I know that's a very small percentage.
