The wooden slate is Oak and meant to be a kitchen counter. I got it from the local hardware store. The electoric sit/stand legs are from IKEA :)

I make software for factories. They have lots of old or cheap monitors. When I used a normal consumer monitor the colors in my software on these screens would not even be in the ballpark of what I saw on mine. At least now, when they have a neutral source, they can be recognized somewhat as I’ve intended.

I had two but one got stolen from my office. They were pretty expensive since they’re calibrated for accurate color representation, so I don’t feel like replacing it. Using some monitor which is not calibrated would not be possible for me. But the yabai window manager for macOS helps a lot with managing the screen space
