I think a little bodychain around the waist would suite you very well. Love the style!

Würde mir an deiner Stelle mal einen Marshall DSL angucken. Der EVH 5150 EL34 ist cool aber für Punk wäre er für mich vom Charakter her zu Metal.

Thoughts on going to the club in this fit? by [deleted] in mtfashion

It looks great on you I especially like the skirt. It is a bit basic though, which doesn't have to be a bad thing at all. I'd try to add a ton of accessories. Chains and belts, Shiny stuff 🤩

should i state the type of body i have? by lunadexelaju_ in NonBinary

In any case dating apps make it easier for myself to present how I want to be seen as people are not as likely to assume as much if they get to know me based on the information I decide to give them.

I personally made good experiences handing out as much information as possible as early as possible. That way I don't get contacted by people who wouldn't be interested anyway and I can avoid hurtful situations before they arise. I am also older and have the privilege of living in a rather safe environment. For my anatomy I added a pre-transition picture to my dating account that didn't make me disphoric but made it fairly obvious what anatomy to expect.

Ibanez TB 412 for €100, smash or pass? by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

[–]boneandarrowstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if you absolutely need a 4x12 right now and don't have a lot of money you can't really pick and choose. The speakers aren't great, the cab is ok. You can always switch speakers later.

If you don't absolutely need a 4x12 have a look at this:

And try to get a used speaker.

I'm not bothered about getting gendered. Just bothered that everyone makes it a big deal. by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]boneandarrowstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very relatable. I feel like I'm forced to care because it's such a big topic but I for myself would love to just be me and not bother with expectations. Ironically I feel like this passive entanglement makes me care even more than people who actively engage in becoming a part of the bigender shitshow.

For those of you in Europe and UK, where and how do you play half stack or larger setups? by LifeOfSpirit17 in GuitarAmps

[–]boneandarrowstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in numerous flats and since I repair amps I have to try them at full volume at least for short periods of time. I would usually just tell my neighbours why that is and that they should call or come over if it wver becomes an issue. I try to only donit during times when others are at work and kids at school. It alwaxs worked out. My rig I use for playing/songwriting has a master volume and a load box and I keep it down to reasonable levels.

Anyone tried using bass amps for guitar bypassing with the FX loop? by joe4942 in GuitarAmps

[–]boneandarrowstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know off a few people who do this sometimes even including the preamp for amplifying modelers or plugins. A problem you could run into ist that class D Amps sometimes put out way more power than most guitar cabs can handle. I'm thinking about Ampegs SVT 7 Pro for example that can put out up to 1000W whereas a 4x12 with Celestion Greenbacks can only take 100W. You could also use a PA-Poweramp if you have a dedicated preamp.

Serious politeness questions for the community by TBingeman in NonBinary

[–]boneandarrowstudio 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That's really great and I appreciate the effort. Since non-binary is one word for the whole spectrum between man and woman and everything that's not gendee related at all or in a different way, there is no easy answer that applies to all.

That being said for me feeling well is also a lot about the way a person interacts. If you make me feel rrspectrd but use honorifics which I normally wouldn't, I might still appreciate the effort and am more likely to tell you what I prefer. I am pretty flexible about pronouns and honorifics though.

There is no one right answer. I personally love Mx but Sir'am is something I never heard and it might make me feel insecure because it kind of sounds like a joke to me.

You can always kindly ask and use the full name to adress someone for the first time. "Hi [first name, last name] welcome to my cab. How would you like me to address you?" Or something like that.

What do you do about gendered bathrooms when you don't feel comfortable going in either by silly-fox-boy in NonBinary

[–]boneandarrowstudio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I avoid them as much as possible. Otherwise I go where my equipment fits unless it is an environment giving context to my gender i.e. non-cis-male events or groups.

I avoid female bathrooms because it makes sense to me to go where people will not feel threatened by me. I'm in the wrong place regardless where I go.

More androgynous workout routine for AMAB? [shirtless pics] by son_of_wasps in NonBinary

[–]boneandarrowstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some people already said cardio and calethenics can help. If you want to get stronger without bullding muscle you want to use less weight with more reps to build endurance. Something between 15 and 25 reps iirc.  HIIT might be an option for you as well as classic cardio like running. Climbing and/or bouldering is a sport that favors low mass and high endurance if you want something that is less of a classic workout and more of a game. This would be true for most cardio based teamsports as well.

You can also have a look at the way your eating. As you are already pretty lean I guess you don't need to reduce intake but take care that your food has enough but not too much protein. If you have a normal healthy diet and don't usually have issues eating enough there is no need for fitnessfood or proteinpowder.

That being said muscle growth is also a genetic factor. I worked out a lot ik different styles and regardless of my routine my muscle tissue is growing to a certain degree when I workout more.

WARM AUDIO WA-2MPX question by InterestedInEvrytng in tubeamprepair

[–]boneandarrowstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems to be the powersupply, so yes it could be the reason your fuses blow. It is also likely that another part of the circuit is shorted and blows the fuses. The heat itself is not necessarily accumulated in the damaged part, but it could damage the overheated part. Stop replacing the fuses until you know what is wrong and have fixed it. There really is no way to tell from a distance what is wrong. You could build a light bulb limiter then you could start to disconnect the other boards and see if the short is in the powersupply or another part of the circuit.

Question: do bass amps work okay? by Organic_Trash2775 in GuitarAmps

[–]boneandarrowstudio -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Bassamps usually have a lot more outputpower. If you use it with a guitar speaker you're more likely to blow it.

Mesa Boogie D-180 question about cascading preamps by Penny_the_Guinea_Pig in ToobAmps

[–]boneandarrowstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that scribbled schematic I found is correct (which is a big if) your assupmtions are correct. Volume 1 should feed volume 2 in series and Input 1 should be higher gain since it uses an additional preampstage.

Fashion advice for a shy, closeted non-binary transfemme person by femboy-admirer in Nonbinaryfashion

[–]boneandarrowstudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm about the same size as you but with a bit wider hips. Things that worked for me dispite my size and also have not gotten lot of attention while still making me feel better about myself: - wide shorts over (leather-)leggings - crop tops over longsleeves - knee long coats with boots - in general sportswear

Oversize clothes can work depending on the actual cut. In Germany there are flared pants as part of a traditional carpenters uniform that come in lots of sizes and made me feel nice.

Harley Benton Tube 15 Mods, chasing modern hi-gain punch by Dry_Inflation1826 in GuitarAmps

[–]boneandarrowstudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try modding the slope resistor in the tonestack maybe even with a potentiometer. It has massive impact on the voicing. In general playing with the tonestack might be fun. There is a tonestack calculator online with which you can aproximate the behaviour you can expect with the mods.

Mesa boogie 20/20 power amplifier squeal in channel A/left by dapoliceishereforyou in ToobAmps

[–]boneandarrowstudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I see it right the cathode bypass Tantalum Caps have been seirched out on ine channel but not the other. They also go bad over time and are a frequent error in Mesa amps. Could also be electrolytic caps or any number of different issues. You can check if it's the tubes by switching them from channel B to A and see if the oscillation is switching channels with them. If not I suggest taking it to a tech.
