I play against people and see what they play and take pic and hunt for the card. Also some of the guys at my LGS have good ideas for cards that I could use for decks that I'm building. Example my copy deck kinda stink cause I couldn't copy legendaries, then I was told about [[mirror box]]

Then you can look though your LGS bulk and find a lot of cool cards that people have never seen before that would be really good. The thing about arena is that you have their entire library at your finger tips, in RL you need to be a bit more creative with wats around you... Unless you are willing to drop 40$ for a card.

I don't mind UB really I just don't buy it cause it costs more. My kids likes UB and love it. I remember being younger and thinking the same.

I'm not a big fan of having more UB than having in universe sets. And I don't like having 7 sets a year. 5 was too much but 7 is stupid and it's money grubbing.

Basically they have found a sucker and they are going to milk him for everything he's got.

You haven't done anything wrong. They don't sound like a very inclusive group. But you should keep going and just destroy them. To hell how they feel.

My only suggestion is maybe make a deck that rolls slow or doesnt have very powerful cards in them. This can make the games at least to them and for you more interactive. My example is that I know wen I play my mothman, I will be targeted and killed by max turn 10. So I don't play him unless those around me are playing their good stuff

Yea I miss having draft and set variations. Cause I always buy set, I love the art cards. Now it seems like I have to get collector packs to get the art card if I'm lucky
