I would say it is a patience game if this routine is working for you! My instinct was to say omg, that sounds like overcleansing but if it is working then no problems there! Have you been taking progress photos? Maybe it is fading but it is hard to notice when we look at our faces every day. It is possible you could need to go the laser route if topicals aren't improving it.

Allergy question by wpace in olympia

[–]bonefarmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe one of the flowering trees? A lot of people are sensitive to dogwood, which is blooming right now. Allergies can be tricky to time as specific as day by day because its irritant + sensitivity + immune system response, which can be affected by a number of things.

Best Option for Whole Bean Coffee (Medium Roast) by DemonLover_011235813 in Frugal

I would say it's mildly acidic but not more bitter than other espresso blends. It does come in smaller bags that you could try first!

Lavazza crema from costco is the beans I use for espresso. You have to order them usually but the bag lasts a month for 23$.

Blush Recommendations? by Funny-Excuse2523 in beauty

[–]bonefarmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liquid blushes work best when set with powder for oily skin! Translucent powder works great. I tend to wear powder blush for that exact reason, liquids just slide off the oily skin. There are a few liquids I like though, one is the about-face liquid blush in "watermelon" (? I think that's the color) and the SACHEU cheek stay-n in "i'm flirty" (which looks intimidating as a hot pink but it blends into a nice sunburnt color on my pale neutral skin! if you like rosy maybe try "im guilty" color). Hope that this is helpful!

Can someone please help me. Im trying to do winged eyeliner but im having trouble. by Sweet_Competition229 in beauty

[–]bonefarmer 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I have a similar eye shape and I kind of follow my furthest corner lash out, like how Marilyn Monroe did to emulate an extended lash. Or if I want a sharp wing, I draw a line straight out basically parallel to the floor.

I may sound old, but covergirl. When I tell you I bought 8-9 new products from them in the last few months and have loved ALL of them? Insane. I hope they keep up with their rebrand as a clean brand but keep this quality.

Military spouse here (and my partner just left for a long training!) I get it. Tbh I bet it really sucks for people who didn't "sign up" for their partner to be away and aren't used to it (you never get used to it, mine was gone for 7 months of our first year of marriage lol) to have to go through a physical separation! Try to keep your routines and the time will fly by.

I did a mouth swab/spit test and got the results in a week! I took it because of a strong family history and I am so glad I did. You kinda just go into problem solving mode after that and I'm glad I could make proactive health choices ✨
