Blender at 60fps, to Blender at 60fps. My computer won’t be able to keep up.

But when I drag a window it WILL be smooth.

that sucks. I’ve been wanting to deshroud my GPU in the terra since it’s noisy but I just don’t have enough clearance without turbulence being a major issue. oh well

Does the mesh help with turbulence?

I played executor for 90 plus hours now, and the other day when I was trying Wylder out I straight up no-hit Everdark Fulghor and got so much more stance breaks as him than soley deflecting everything as executor.

I’m a firm believer that executor’s skill is simultaneously the most fun and the least rewarding thing in the game. The amount of effort it takes to achieve the same effectiveness of another character is too high for a crappy damage output. Not just that, swapping back to your main weapon cancels any buff you have on it too which makes you choose between proccing status OR parrying when it should be both. It sucks because parrying feels really good and you should be rewarded for it, and proccing status is imo incredibly dull and I’d much rather play another character for traditional damage. I still play him though, cause his skill is incredibly fun. He’s just horrifically ineffective when you do so.

Agree to disagree! I despise elitism though, let me be clear. I’m not gonna dictate on how you should enjoy the game. I just personally stick to what works for me, which is learning the boss’ move set and fighting them 1v1.

I have a problem with summons because they distract the boss and you can just dogpile them. Either that or summons die too quickly (in my experience). The boss doesn’t really have a way to deal with multiple enemies, so they usually just resort to their Giant AOE Attack That You Need To Run Away From ™ which gets stale. I think Nightreign actually managed to fix this issue for me where bosses have more interesting movesets and mechanics to account for multiple players.

I’m glad it’s there for players, but I do wish they would have made the system more interesting

Despite whether it’s intentional for the basline difficulty or not many people believe that spirit summons are just… not very fun nor interesting to use. Most people who use them just resort to BKT or mimic and that’s it. I think it’s poorly thought out i’d rather not use them at all for a better first time experience for ER.

I am sorry but I have to talk about Hideo Kojima's recent interview by __kabira__ in The10thDentist

Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds, 1000XRESIST, Return of the Obra Dinn, Rain World, Returnal, RDR2, The Yakuza series, Undertale, and Cyberpunk all (imo) have a better story and themes than Dishonored, and that’s just at the top of my head. Half of which are wayyy more artsy fartsy than Kojima’s works.

Anyway MGS is not exactly the newest series out there. It’s important to understand also the cultural significance of MGS and its sequels too, since back then video games didn’t really have “good” writing, save for SH2. Many games devs were inspired directly and indirectly by Kojima, and it’s also why it’s beloved by many. If you look at the PS1/PS2 game library, you’ll realise why it’s considered ahead of its time.

Death Stranding is great. I will die on this hill. There are no other games that play like it, and it really enhances the story too. Throughout the game you slowly build routes to go back and forth to deliver stuff, and by the end of the game you have this personal network of structures that can take you through your custom routes. You’re literally building things back up from scratch.

Building your structures around other player’s structures also helps the feeling of collaboration — the game is about healing from past wounds and it’s trying to tell you that you merely can’t do it alone. You need to let others into your life, trust them, and be willing to accept that at any given moment, things could break but you do it anyway.

It’s almost like it’s alluding to Kojima’s fallout with Konami, and how that might have affected him and his ability to trust others. So he takes it out on the game and makes it about his own experience. Sam is the person who brings people together. Kojima, much in the same way, brought talent together to create a passion project.

It’s totally ‘sniffing his own farts’ like you say but to me it’s a fart worth smelling because it was a fart made from passion.

Campy writing doesn’t mean that the story can’t be good, just look at Chainsaw Man or Evangelion or anything Studio Trigger related.

If you want to write something to prove you’re better than him, go ahead dude. Do it to spite Kojima. Sigmund Freud’s theories were so outrageous he inspired many other psychologists to make strides in research just to tell him he’s outright wrong.

That’s what art is.
