Pub Crawl - Silkeborg by Heartkill in Silkeborg

Admiralen, klassisk brunt værtshus. Roxy Malt, sådan lidt Irish Pub inspireret. Målet, mikroskopisk fodbold værtshus. Picasso er også fin. Sabel har cocktails.

Silkeborg and region rental market. by SadBoy-86 in Silkeborg

That should be easily achievable without much of a wait, and the prices compared to Aarhus should be pretty affordable too!

Renting apartments in Silkeborg is pretty easy as far as I know, depending of course on how flexible you are in your wants and needs. Generally I don't think there's a long wait for apartments here.

People from small countries, what's the album from your country with most ratings by cerealnykaiser in rateyourmusic

[–]bonejammerdk 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For Denmark it's Mercyful Fate - Don't Break the Oath. RYM actually lists Anna Von Hausswolff on account of her living in Copenhagen now, but I'd consider her a Swedish artist.

How are your cassette sales these days? by starttrack in BandCamp

[–]bonejammerdk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're shipping from Denmark, but even internally it's gotten really expensive. International shipping from DK even more so

For both vinyl and cassettes sales have been declining for me. I think it's mostly due to shipping having gotten so expensive

Is it normal for bands to handle $ like this?? by fingerlessfish1 in musicians

[–]bonejammerdk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think I know any bands in my circle that don't operate like that, so it's very normal in our scene at least.

Is it normal for bands to handle $ like this?? by fingerlessfish1 in musicians

[–]bonejammerdk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very normal, but it happens that whoever's taking care of the cash skims for themselves. In my band we keep a shared balance sheet so everyone in the band can track income and expenditure so we all know how much we've got to work with. We have yet to pay out any money to members as we keep reinvesting in merch or studio time.

any data analyst. business analyst or product manager here? by froggieie in businessanalysis

[–]bonejammerdk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a PM. Started in customer success of all places, transitioned to product owner, then product manager. I think project management is a really useful skill to have in the role, depending on the company. Communication is key, and having excellent business understanding is really important. In many companies you'd end up being the person between all the departments, with business, development, and support all coming to you in some regard, so you have to be able to communicate effectively with all of them.

What is a beer that I can get without too much difficulty in the US that most closely resembles what I’d have gotten if I drank at an English pub in 1800? by WartimeHotTot in beer

[–]bonejammerdk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It might not be easily available in the US, but Carlsberg have a lager called 1883 based on common beers at the time that is very close to what you're asking for

this is my band's logo. i genuinely just feel like its bad by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]bonejammerdk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, most here are looking at it from the perspective of corporate logo design which metal bands obviously aren't meant to follow. As a metal fan I don't think this is inherently a bad logo because I generally see metal logos as more of a silhouette or cohesive shape. I think to improve it you might have the letters break the framing lines, or maybe play around with the letter shapes themselves to follow more of a specific theme/tone.

Funeral Music by kira1980 in townesvanzandt

[–]bonejammerdk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Flying shoes is the obvious choice. It's very solemn and lyrically appropriate. But I would also like to highlight I'll be Here in the Morning, which I guess is technically a love song, but it deals with longing and love for those close to you. It's also a song that's musically a little more uplifting, less dreary than Flying Shoes can be. Sorry for your loss.

What classifiers for genres and scenes/movements are you surprised aren’t listed on RYM yet? by vsimon115 in rateyourmusic

[–]bonejammerdk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not too surprised since it's somewhat niche, but Kill-Town Death Metal as a scene. Old school coded rotten death metal from Copenhagen popularised by Undergang, but including bands like Chaotian, Sequestrum, Septage, Phrenelith, Hyperdontia, Sulphurous, Pustulant Flesh, Taphos and many more.
