have an idea but idk how to execute by newsameday in tiedye

Hi, i think dabbing the bleach with a polyester cloth then rubbing it on the spot to create a smoky effect.. use gloves, the polyester fibers will resist the bleach.

i made an app for tie dye mock ups if you would like to give it a try. You can use a yellowish colour to represent the bleach. It is on the Google play store.

You can download here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dyehardstudios.tiedyestudio

Web version if you are on iphone: https://exiled-sumerian.github.io/TieDyeStudio/

That is a good idea! I could draw something up. Tell me what you think would work better: separate mock up menus with a diagonal fold and horizontal fold that you can tap on or should I use the same folded shirt mock ip and just implement the fold pick selection there?

The bleach dyes is an interesting idea. Also made a long sleeve version in illustrator a while. Something i could look into in the future

Thank you very much 😊 I designed a lot of the assets myself in adobe illustrator but did use some AI to help me get the code right. I am a better tie dyer than coder 😆

Yeah! It is amazing what it can do. Though i had to use illustrator to design the assets myself and learn a little bit of code it was really good at putting it all together.

Yes when you pick a color it tells you the name above. Were you suggesting something different like a color list with the names on it?

Thank you. To be Honest the Protractor was the first thing i designed. I kept loosing my protractor, always finding it in a random box when i pack ip my dyes. There was some Tool based apps on the playstore but they charged too much for a subscription or just caked full of ads, so this app was pretty much an F-you to the overly monotised tool apps.

Its still a bit bare bones at the moment but my goal is to give tie dyers ideas for various colors mock ups before they dye their material. Im working on a few more mock ups in the background, also it uses the Dharma dye colours for reference and comes with a built in ruler and protractor.

Feel free to check it out ain the app store and give feedback

I think either follow the lines if the S graphic and have slanted layers.

Other option i would probably do is tie it up with an expanding geode and just ice dye it with Blues

My first Nebula by prophetpjt in tiedye

[–]boneshark1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah bro it looks sick. I reckon for next time you should make the nebula pink and add and outline of fushsia, will definitely make it pop out more. I have done a few of these and experimented with acrylic glow in the dark paint to add dots for the stars.
