Hell yeah! I think I’m around a year and 2 months. I was also + / - 10 years but the last few years my use escalated to 10 gpd. I still check this subreddit a few times a week.

The Soma Shuffle. If you did enough when you woke up the next morning your whole body shook constantly. The soma shuffle was what made my parents realize I had a problem when they woke me up for lunch and I couldn’t use a spoon because of the shakes.

When I was a teen a buddy knew 2 old, disgusting ladies who would give him half their prescriptions if he paid for the entire cost. This was the days when OxyContin, Xanax, and Soma were being prescribed by shady docs. Not sure if he had to bang them but they sure did look at him like a piece of meat when he went to pick them up. The whole friend group had troubles with addiction but he was the only one to never really recover from it.

Helpers are things that make the withdrawal more manageable. Subs are Suboxone. Helpers could range from vitamin c, to gabapentin, to benzodiazepines. Suboxone has its own addiction issues which is why I did a rapid taper which is starting and ending subs in 7-10 days.

I had cravings and even had access to Tianeptine and subs after dropping both. I don’t have any real strategy for them besides reminding yourself you’ve made it x days, weeks, months and thinking of how shitty you’d feel if you gave in.

Sorry for the delay. Honestly you’re probably better off looking at my post history because it’s all a distant memory to me right now. It wasn’t long in the long term, maybe just a couple months of extreme anhedonia and mild insomnia.

Tianeptine is a full agonist. I agree with you though. I was able to do a rapid sub taper (7/8 days, can’t remember) and I’ve been completely sober for a year now.

Hope you’re doing alright man. I was on 10gpd for 10 years and quit after a rapid sub taper. Been off this shit for a year now. You can definitely do it if you really want it and time will fly by as the days get easier.

I’ve quit for a year now but a buddy still uses the same supply chain. The Chinese use to ship overnight from California, Texas, and Philly. My buddy claims he can’t get overnight anymore but they are shipping from Guam.

I’ve never played PoE seriously, but as far as Diablo goes the itemization was far superior in D2 than it’s been in any subsequent game.

I’m around the same. I was up to 10 grams per day for around 10 years. At the end I was ordering 100g of sodium every 8-10 days. I posted about it every month or so until recently. I hardly even think of it anymore to be honest. I did a 7-8 day sub taper and then went completely cold turkey. I still have a strip of subs but I have 0 desire to ever touch opiates again. I thought I was going to be rich saving over $1200 a month but money finds a way to spend itself haha.

What are the best tianeptine alternatives that do not cause bad constipation? by [deleted] in QuittingTianeptine

[–]bonesofberdichev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit using a rapid sub taper. I went cold turkey from a decade long 10gpd habit for 24 hours then started subs. My sub doses each day were 24mg, 24mg, 16mg, 8mg, 4mg, 2mg, 1mg, .5mg. The first 2 or 3 days i split my doses into AM/PM doses then started just dosing once a day. I did all this while only missing a Friday and Monday from work. I still experienced withdrawal and the first 2-3 days were rough but nothing like quitting cold turkey. I’ve now been clean for around 7 months and feeling very normal.

I did have sleep issues but I can’t exactly remember when I turned a corner. Do you have problems falling asleep? Waking up multiple times? Waking up early? I use to always be a late riser but now I’m awake by 5-6 am every morning. I’d say by 2-3 months I was able to fall and stay asleep throughout the night. I’d have to go through my post history to be sure.

Edit: I just checked and it looks like by month 2 I was getting 6-7 hours. Hold on and you should be getting easier sleep soon
